Hello,
I've started playing ehm with the TBL rosters. I'm playing with Colorado Avalanche and I'm puzzled why most of my young players need to clear waivers before being sent to the farm.
For example I can send Connor Timmins to AHL without clearing waivers, but I can't send Kamenev. In 2nd season, I also need to clear Bowen Byram first. Can someone just clear up the rules for me for sending players to the farm with regards to the waivers.
Edit:
I'm in training camp now, shouldn't I be able to send players down without clearing waivers?

Young players need to clear waivers
I have the same problem with Kirby Dach in my Chicago Blackhawks game.
I reckon he still has some junior eligibility left, so there is the option to send him to Juniors or waivers (before AHL). Might be the same for Byram, since they're from the same Draft year ?

Young players need to clear waivers
I've noticed the option to send to juniors doesn't appear until later on in the off-season.

Young players need to clear waivers
I've seen the same issue regarding the waivers.
However, in my case the issue seems to go away at the same time when youngsters with CHL rights get their option to 'send back to juniors'.
Some players give the 'place on waivers' option even though they might be 19 or 20 years of age and not played one single professional game. But in my case that problem has always disappeared some time in the autumn and then I'm able to send them to AHL normally.
I'm not 100% sure but one case IIRC it was that a player was 20 years old before the training camp and did not have CHL rights. But even then the game gave me the 'place on waivers' thing and the player had only played in junior leagues previously. This player too would eventually be able to be sent down normally before the regular season started.
