Hi all,
We are currently looking for a software to manage our simulated Hockey simulations.
We currently have the SimonT (http://sths.simont.info/) software but we are looking at what else there is on the market. And EHM arrived quickly in the discussions.
Is this a solution for our league? (we are here: http://snhl.nexgate.ch/)
Others here use EHM to simulate their seasons?
We are on long term leagues. We simulate a season in real time.
Thank you !
Pierre

EHM and simulated leagues
I actually received a very similar query from somebody else recently. It is certainly possibly to simulate seasons using EHM but you should keep in mind that it is different to the way in which SimonT does it. Unlike SimonT, there isn't really any commish mode. Whilst you can login as different GMs, you cannot change the overall game world mid-game. In other words, the GM can sign players, set tactics, etc but you couldn't manually move one player to another team mid-game (other than making an offer which is accepted by the AI GM of the relevant team). EHM is designed to simulate an entire living, breathing game world rather than being a sandbox as such.
On the other hand, the amount of customisation which is possible prior to starting the game is very high. You can, for instance, set up your own custom league structures using the EHM Editor (it does require a bit of learning, but simple leagues are fairly straightforward to created).

Thanks archibalduk !
It seems there is only SimonT in the simulated league software market (excluding Websimhockey)
