Creating Schedule List in Schedule Template

Post by Loverboymk »

Hello guys.

I have created, actually expanded Polish Hockey League up to 30 teams. I have used the settings from the NHL with 2 conferences and 4 divisions. Have also used exactly the same stage settings as the NHL has.

But, when first time have started the game it said something like this:

And after copying NHL schedule from Schedule Template I had this error:

So, after this error I have gone through some Team ID checks from the template and real team ID's from the editor and realized that in-game team ID's are very different than the ones used in schedule template.

Real ID's

Schedule Template ID's

Can anyone help me to find out where these ID's came from?

Without knowing these I can't get correct schedule dates set up in my db.
And I don't really know how and where to find it or what kind of tool use to generate fixtures using my PHL teams.

Al help greatly appreciated.

Do you have 30 teams configured added to divisions/conferences in the structure?

When you are in the structure tab, can you go to Populate all conferences by Detail Divisions? You sent screenshots of the NHL, but did you change those conferences/divisions to your new Polish conferences/ divisions?

Schedule templates don't use club IDs but instead use an ID system based on division and club. Take a look at the Schedule Templates section of this guide which explains how it works: https://www.reddit.com/r/EHM/comments/b ... _playable/

I have used NHL as a base copy and then created my own divisions but been struggling with ID's.
When I copied everything into the template that's when I had the errors.
This was because my division names were different than the NHL ones I think.

Thanks Archi.

I've been following this guide for some time but it took me few days to realize that the editor has got kinda generator built-in.

So, after using the generator I was able to create correct schedule for my league but instead of playing similar amount of total games to the NHL (set up in league tab for max 82 in league) it will be over 1700 games all together! Which is way lot more than NHL with same amount of league games (82), where all team games gave a figure of 1290.

But will see how it goes in the season :)

By the way, why when I have created All-Stars game in editor, the loading screen became pale grey and game stopped to create save?

You need to enable the Has All-Star Game in your Polish league, add the All-Star game as a playable league and create the two All-Star teams (I think). Take a look at the NHL or AHL and just follow that approach.
