Playing without tactics for the first time

Post by vilski23 »

Okay so like the title says I'm playing the game first time without any tactics and letting the head coach take care of everything except training. I have played the game over 10 years but never with the head coach in charge of tactics.

Is there anyway I can tell if the coach has a good PP and PK attributes? I can always check from the EHM Assistant but I'd rather not use it. Also do assistant coaches PP and PK attributes matter? Let's say my head coach has a PK attribute of 4 but one of my assistants has a 18. Does it matter at all or does my PK just suck because of the head coach being bad at it?

Finally if I have a head coach who is attacking minded, should I also try to sign/draft/trade for players who are attacking minded and only have a couple of grinders? This would make a lot of sense but I have no idea does it actually work like this when you're not in charge.

Any tips are appreciated. Thank you!

No I'm afraid they're hidden in-game. As you say, you'd have to check via the Assistant.

Your head coach is in charge of tactics and so only his PP and PK attributes matter when it comes to tactics/playing a match. AFAIK PP/PK are not relevant for team practice where your assistant coach is running the practice - see here: https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/wiki/ind ... _Practices - so I don't believe PP/PK attributes are relevant other than for the head coach.

Yes it could potentially but obviously you'll need to ensure a good defence to ensure that you have the ability to deal with opposition breakaways.
