quick question, I'm going to start a new game and I would like to know which league you advise me to select, taking for granted that I like to start in the CHL and go to the NHL afterwards

I would just do the CHL Memorial Cup and NHL to start if you are new to the game, that would keep things quicker between sims.

Eastside Hockey Manager has been able to write data to disk, reasons for this could be (1) lack of disk-space, (2) file locked by system, (3) bad sectors on disk being written to.

Unable to access data from disk.

This looks like hardware problems, you should replace your hard drive.

Rivalries:

Järvenpään Haukat: Hyvinkään Jää-Ahmat was one of their biggest rival in 90s because located in nearby city.

Kiekko-Vantaa against Kiekko-Espoo is derby in Helsinki area. Kiekko-Espoo have also historical rivalry with Jokerit and HIFK.
Pelicans against KooKoo is also derby.

"mismatch of promoted and relegated teams (swiss national league)" on July 1st 2023 then it crashes.

I am using the beta that is recommended. Did I set up the league wrong?

I know Swiss had some rule changes about it's top two leagues, IIRC there is no relegation - promotion anymore ?!

Potentially, there are a lot of game issues with promotion/relegation. Personally, I'd like to remove it across the database but I understand how important it is for the European player base. I'm trying to get Riz to look into these issues, if you have a save game you can send me I'd appreciate it. You can PM me here, or reach out on Steam/Discord.

It's back as of next season so we put it back in (similar to my personal decision to have Jokerit in Liiga as that organization should be back in 2023-24).

Seems to be problem with Hungarian Erste League. Team finished 6th at regular season participate both at round for winners and losers. Playoffs will be never drawed as there are only 7 teams for quarter finals.

In 7.10 version I see there are 18 teams in men's WC in Elite group, while in D1A, D1B and D2A there are 5 teams, is that left on purpose due to Rus/Blr situation or it will be changed in next update ?

There are game limitations that prevent me from really altering the WCs too much, I'll look at it over the summer but I cannot make it like real life (with D4) unless game code is added.
