Number of foreign players in CHL - Hardcoded?

Discuss all aspects of editing the data and databases in EHM here. Have a question about the EHM Editor, EHM Assistant, editing the .cfg files, hex editing the .dat or .db files? Want to tweak the EHM exe file to change league rules/structure, start date etc? This is the place!

Number of foreign players in CHL - Hardcoded?

Hi there,

I saw the news that CHL may expand the number of foreign players from 2 to 3 in all 3 leagues (WHL OHL LHJMQ).
Can we put this new rule through EHM Editor ? I cannot find it in Competitions > Rules and Structures...

May it be hardcoded?

The setting is available in Competitions -> Transfer Rules (not Rules & Structures). You'll see on the Basic Data tab in the bottom left corner there's a "Max foreign players in squad" setting for each league. That's the setting you'll need to change.
