To remove the background from an image:Madison Kingdom wrote:Okey but how do I seperate the logo from the background and save just the logo as image (without the background)?
1. Press "w" to bring up the Magic Wand Tool
2. Click once anywhere on the background. This should select only the background colour. You might have to zoom in and select the background parts of the logo (inside an O for example). To do this, hold shift while clicking with the Magic Wand Tool.
3. Once you've got all of your background selected, press the delete key. Voila!
4. De-select (Ctrl+D).
5. Select Save For Web... from the File menu and save it as a PNG with a transparent background. This will allow whatever is behind the logo to show through.
If this doesn't help you out enough, I might suggest googling 'photoshop background removal tutorial'.
Cheers!
