Faceoff Logos...

Post by Honnegger »

I don't know if this is a stupid question, but is there a way to get rid of the Faceoff logos? (The Sega + EHM 2007 Logos)

It's just not realistic too see them on the Ice surface... Also, the puck visibility isn't very good there.

I've never done this before, but I think it would be ok to do this.

Go to your Sports Interactive Folder, and go to the 'data' folder, then to the 'pictures' folder, and then to the 'rinks' folder, and then I think it would be safe to just delete the picture files in there. Now I'm not for sure, I would wait for someone else to verify this.

There is also a logo pack that you can download for each team.

Good Luck

Okay, this is going to drive me insane... because I have mine turned off with the images still present in the game folders and now I can't remember or find how exactly I did it :help:

The only thing I would sugest would be to move them to a different location; (Don't delete them just incase they need to be in the folder of you decide you want them back) I have not done this but I assume it would work.

It may give you errors when loading up and if it does I'll get you a 'blank' version you can use so that the file is still there but the file just won't display anything. Unless I can remember how the hell I turned mine off.

Has it been determined that that is the best way to remove the on-ice graphics? If so, I will give it a shot. And thanks!

Yes, you're safe deleting the files.

Or if you don't want to lose them permanently, you could also rename them, or cut & paste them to a different location.

Basically, as long as they aren't in the 'faceoff' folder, with their exact default names, they won't be used by the game.
