Ouch!
So i'm gonna learn basic recording during the tour, as i bought the book And then i'll look for some students, as it seems to be a highly appreciated skill
I'd spend my time working on a skill(s) that makes your performances better.
When you have 5 stars in punk, in bapipes, in basic showmanship, in one or more specific stage skills, and then in a secondary skill (vocals or dance so you can be bagpipes/backround vocals or bagpipes/dancer officially) then I'd think about taking up some "community position" like producing or being a doctor but right now? You're wasting your time I think.
Look at the 5 star producers list in the Popo forum you'll see that there are 17 producers listed just for people whose names start with A... I'd help my character and my band before wasting time skilling something because other people might find it useful.
I'm happy to say that The Dead Generation's first single will be available for the PopoHolidays and will surely make a fabulous PopoHoliday gift, take two... they're small We had a blast in the studio and things turned out really well I think, better than I thought they would actually. Luke's advice to binge on fancy meals to get our mood topped out for recording certainly was on target, and the producing worked out great for us. With the popuarity we built up during our first tour I think we should be able to sell a decent number of copies
Is it possible for a character to buy a specific single/ablum? I know we can buy a single or an album in some shops, but i don't know if we can target a specific one I guess the answer is 'no', but else i'd like to buy TDG single Should i'll have it dedicated?
Well, no, you can't actually buy it in the game I was just being funny about how it would make a great gift. Even so, we'd of course be happy to all sign a copy for you when it comes out though It's sure to become a PopoCollector's Item of great worth
Bah! Things still aren't going Floyd's way As soon as I get out of hospital, I catch a cold, pass it on to my TBL friends and then I go away for the weekend which of course doesn't help things. This has all led to my poor character becoming incredibly depressed again.
I've got a concert tomorrow in Nashville so I'm gonna have to binge on fancy meals to keep my mood up. On the plus side, I've gained two stars in woodwind instruments whilst I've been away (it was a foolish thing to leave him studying for the past four days - but I forgot before I went away to change it) and tomorrow I'll complete two more of Mom's wishes: Go by airplane and stay in hotel. That just leaves me to get my own apartment and then I'll have completed the tour On top of that, I gained an experience point! Hooray!
On the topic of apartments, are there any advantages of getting a new apartment?
archibalduk wrote:Can I choose what hotel to stay at when I'm out of town? Or can I just choose what type of hotel I stay at by changing my Artist Preferences?
Just set your artist preferences and make sure you keep enough money on hand or you'll end up sleeping in the gutter, it's an automatic charge like feeding your pets or the money you pay for the gym/partying.
The apartment thing is most important for people not from NYC as it takes away their having to pay for a hotel every day they are out of their home city. But it's mainly a mom's list item keeping ya from getting the cash and bsic manners skill she gives you when completing your list It costs $700 and if it's your final mom's list item then you instantly get $500 back from your mom.
Also, good to see that the people in my Singing class got their skill today!
Anyone know what it means when there's a yellowish highlight over certain interactions? I've been seeing since I began playing, but I never could figure out what they meant. I've always assumed they were interactions that you should have skill in, in order for it to be positive.

You are correct sir... singing corresponds with your skill in basic singing, quickies and lovemakin are enhanced by having the sex skill from the Karma Sutra book, telling jokes is the comedy skill and those are all I can think of right now
Yeah, 55$/week for the cheapest (and smallest) place. Is there any in-game advantage for having a bigger appartment? I know it increases the amount of things you can let in, but is there any other advantage?
Larger places store more stuff as you mentioned and are of nicer quality as well.
I don't think that quality does anything for you though since it's not a locale where people are beign drawn to it by the quality of the locale so my guess is... little to no difference beside money.
Just played my third gig (this time in Nashville) - it was bottom dwelling. It seems inevitable that I'm gonna get seriously depressed again so I'm hitting the books - I just need one more star in woodwind instruments to be three star. I've also got a sax (thanks, Jeb ) and a microphone so hopefully these factors will improve my performances (of course with some jamming too).
Why has a random person taken a sample of my blood? Is it anything to do with the fact I have a cold. It was taken by Christina Prather (she was in fact the person that arrested me a long while back) who works for World Research Institute.
They have to take your blood to find out what strain you have (there's like 9 of them now at least) then take your blood and make it into medicine and give you the medicine. Then you take the medicine and an hour later poof no cold, and you then have immunity from that strain so you can't catch it again. But since there are so many strains it doesn't mean you won't catch another, the guys on the Cerebus Tour which they've started calling The Incubation Tour have had like 7 different colds already So make sure you pay attention to who has a cold and don't interact with them!
