Booked my tickets today. Gone for the £15 pound possibel nose bleed seats. But well I have never experience that at a hockey match so will be interesting besides might get some use out my specs I never use. Was gonna just go for one as I thought my dad would just go to one and go up the next day but was on phone to him and was happy when he said to go for sunday as well. May aswell I am travelling all the way to London may as well make a weekend of it.
I am really looking forward to this Ducks are my team and will be amazing to see them. Also for it to be against the Kings and a league match just icing on the cake. I really hope Ducks can pick up form again and win the cup to see them in their first games as holders that would be heaven. But even if not they will hopefully be in with a shout next season too. I think I'm gonna get some sleep and get up for tonight nhl game and watch it and give me a flavour of what is to come.
I think the elite will take a weekend off though interesting the twist the elite are putting on this as if they invited the NHL teams over but well any publicity eh. I woudl like to see channel 5 show live coverage of these two games get some publicity for this and maybe have a studio in the arena.
Perhaps more NHL teams could do this say play 40 home games in their own rink and then play 1 and 1 away game in another city. Would be good to get more of the global markets.

That made me chucklebatdad wrote:I can hear it now:
George the announcer:"Great save Clout-ee-urrr. Bloody hell, George what a formidable blockage by the lad!"
George the colorman "Yes, George it most certainly was a premier league calibre stop"

Yeah I really want to. I'm just waiting on my bro deciding - I don't really want to go on my own. I'd be one pretty much a dream come truebatdad wrote:Archi: GO TO THE GAME! You will have more fun than you have ever had. Plus you get to listen to the unknowledgeable fans next to you and explain to them what is really going on. It may start a riot! But hooliganism in hockey is not an issue."

Boo! Go on your own you big scaredy cat! Forget about that Calv guy. He is always studying. Besides you can always bug him about you going and him not going for decades to come." Hey Calv...Remember that time we went to see....Oh right, you were too busy reading that Chaucer book"
ALso, It is not United vs Chelsea. No brawls in the stands. Well, maybe Ivanans and Parros will come up for 2 reasons:
1. Give you a taste of "old time hockey"
2. Make you feel at home!

OOh Linear Algebra. Nothing better....Matrix
Never ever enrol in a class at 830 on a Thursday after you have an intramural hockey schedule laden with Wed nite game times! Never. You end up getting 10% in the course, when in its precurser you got 90. I always tell my friends that makes 100% so I am awesome!!!!
Topic: Those games should be great experiences. I would hope both teams dress their proper rosters. Well, in Anaheim's case anyway. LA needs a new one.

Fans here were calling Martin Lapointe "Marty LePornstache" last season due to his donning a similar lookbatdad wrote:But yeah, Parros looks like an 80s porn star, not that I would know. Someone told me.

And the commentary was a lot funnier if your "read" it in a thick Brit accent

Topic you say?

Enjoy!

In my best english accent...........
By jove Charles, one has taken the vulcanised rubber disc and one has propelled said disc into the goal for a tally.
Yes Edward, jolly spiffing if you ask me.
And that concludes the first half sorry period time for tea and crumpets.
But seriously it's what this country needs and i am looking forward to seeing the NHL back in england. If it's half as good as last time in 92 and 93 it will be fantastic.
