It's A Glitch!! NHL Ad

:-p I guess it's just because I spent so much time playing the NHL series with friends that I find this so darn funny... but for those of you that don't see NHL games here you go.

I've seen it a few times and I like this one. You're spot on about playing the EA (or whoever) hockey games with friends and being able to relate. I remember year ago when we were first starting to play the NHL games on the Sega and there was always the guy that complained about one move we'd always make on him (IIRC, it was crashing the net to score).

Every NHL game has that go to move to always score.

NHL 95 was passing the puck into the net.
NHL 97-05 was one timers.
NHL 06 was doing the spin deke and going top corner.
NHL 07 is just a go to move festival.

EA's hockey games are broken.

I prefer EHM...

Of course then there's the classic Swingers "it's not so much me it's Roenick, he's good" and "I'm going make little Wayne's head bleed" scene:

Big time NSFW Language Warning! This clip is I don't know why about two minutes longer than it should be... but the quality is way better the correctly cropped version.

Ahhhh the classic EA NHL games were great fun. I remember me and my bro used to have a great laugh playing NHL 99. I remember NHL 2001 and 2004 being great fun too.

I was actually thinking of getting EA NHL 2007 for the XBox as I already have NHL 2k6 and I heard NHL 2k7 isn't that much different. Is EA NHL 07 any good?

Please forgive me if we're off topic, but in answer to Archi, on the 360 2007 is vastly different because of the left/right analog control scheme, it is cool in concept, but I found it very hard to control the entire team, as well as defense. however, I love 2k7, even if it seems like you have to tweak it just right to get a fair game that doesn't involve 100 shots a night.

Personally, I like the hotel one where Ovechkin orders a whole load of food, including "lots of ketchup"... and then has the multiple carts of food delivered to Crosby's room.

That's my fave too :D It shows that despite their rivalry, they're willing to make fun of each other in a friendly way for the sake of promoting their sport
