1. How many ppl here pull their goalies if trailing late in the 3rd?
2. how fast does everyone play their games while coaching? Fast still seems to take forever but Fast Foward doesn't give you enough reaction time to do things like pulling goalies.

I like to watch my games on normal speed (both clock and action), while using extended highlights. I like to know what's going on, and get a feel for each game the team plays. Otherwise it just feels like I'm clicking continue, continue, continue and soon the season is over, and off we go to the next one.
I pull my goalie at the end of third. Usually a bit "too early" compared to real world goalie pullings...

I pull my goalie about 2:00 left, if down. A little early, I suppose. Now, if he would just STAY pulled. Anyone know hte trick to getting the goalie to stay off? Do you have to change your tactics (pull goalie) after the guys line up for the face-off?
Clock speed medium, action speed fast.
Hypno, "NW Ohio", eh? What's that, Lima? Findlay?

I like to pull my goaltender every now and then. It really just depends if my scoring line has done well in that game and it also comes down to the fact of seeing how much time I've spent in my own zone, because if those things clash, then I won't pull my goaltender.
By the way, if you actually set your time to go fast and everything like that. I suggest editing the key plays that you get to see. You can just all, key only, and a few others and then none. But if you go to none, it will make the game go faster for you on just fast speed.

Hah! My goalie has that exact same problem. Sometimes I pull him at say 2:15, and thirty seconds later we get a powerplay, and he goes back for some reason - even if the faceoff is at the offencive end. And he won't come off the ice if I try to pull him again.Bobble wrote:I pull my goalie about 2:00 left, if down. A little early, I suppose. Now, if he would just STAY pulled. I guess that's just another minor thing left unnoticed by the developers, and we won't see any change on that for a looong time, if ever...

No, but I pulled a good one. The puck was advancing out of the zone so I pulled the goalie, but it was an icing on my part. the faceoff came back into my zone and by the time I realized it, it was too late to get the goalie back in and they scored off a point shot!Bobble wrote:I pull my goalie about 2:00 left, if down.
