So...on topic again: Is it going to be Archi? OR will CatchUp have to design his own avatar? If he does, he can mention the player not to be named in the avatar...just cause then it would say I schooled that guy too!!!!

I forget what we all agreed on. Was it just the lowest ranked among us that has to have the "schooled" avatar? Or was it everyone but the winner?

I think we should make Minty have one too since he missed the challenge. Maybe something about being chicken?

I'll let it slide and humour you with my comments...

Contrary to what you might say - I will not be trading him for a 7th rounder. The dude won the Hart, Conn, Ross and the Cup last season and is currently leading the entire league in all three scoring categories. I'm going to get something good for him - make no mistake.

ATM, I've got my sights set on Kovalcuk - that would let me move Drury back to C - which is where he belongs anyway. ATL is in 10th right now and so will likely be gunning for a playoff spot. It will probably take more than Mr. Shark to pry him away, but I have D prospects that I'm willing to part with.

I went through the West and looked at every top line C - and I got the one I wanted!

Double post - sorry - just confirmed the trade and the fans are outraged at losing Marleau but are praising me for getting the monster I did. One fan said it "underlines the importance they attach to big-name additions, saying they are seen as a sign the team is serious about winning."

I actually did have to get creative to get enough space for his monstrous contract. I had to trade Hannan back to them as well, which was unfortunate, but oh well.

The deal was:

TOR - Marleau and Hannan
SJ - Thornton, Volchenkov, 2008 1st Rnd pick

For two, scoff all you want but I've never been able to get Thornton out of SJ before now. So even if you think it's lame, I'm still proud of myself.

I probably should....

If there was another NHL team for me to be a fan of - it would be the Sharks. If only because my dad lives nearby in California and I've been to a couple of games.
