Forum rules
Data Editing Forum: Editing the game, databases or saved games. Home of the EHM Editor and the EHM Assistant.

can somebody make a saved game file that has all the correct rosters and coaching staff just like in the origanal EHM

I guess if a saved game editor came out, it could be possible. The only problem would be that the computer controlled teams would have made trades and so you would have to edit all of those back.
Tbh, it's only a number - I wouldn't really mind if the game started in 2010-2011 provided the rosters were up to date :)

For the second question, freeware EHM addons can't be used with NHL EHM, because it's made on very different engines...

I think it was just a matter of changing a few figures in a saved game to make it start in a different year.
Freeware EHM was built using a much simpler engine than NHL: EHM and so it's probably impossible to do such a patch for the latest game.
