My team the New York Rangers have started this season flying! Top of the Atlantic and joint first with the Senators

And for those of you who will immediately go ' its only 7 games, give it time ' , let me just say us Ranger fans know that more than anyone but from what we have seen and heard this team is working and giving 110% every second of every shift, and not only that but is playing some of the best Hockey in the NHL. Only Ottawa and Montreal in my eyes have been better, and im very happy with what i have seen.

The Rangers most ironically after 7 years of throwing $$$$$$$ trying to fix the problems and create a superstar team, once the Rangers finally decide to rebuild and go with a mix of youth and vets they Win and win Well!

3 home games recently has seen 4-1 against the Devils, 5-1 against the Thrashers, and 4-0 against the Panthers, all good teams, its not as if we beat the Caps 3 times!

Also Henriq Lundqvist has played exceedingly well, a great guy and Hockey player. in these recent 3 home games hes posted 1 shut-out, and a GAA of 0.666, thats brilliant!

And although playing poor defensive NHL hockey and being the butt of my jokes, the only team to beat the Rangers so far in regulation is the Capitals who have conceded somthin like 35 goals, but they have won 3!

I'm saying 'wait and see'. My guess is they'll end up somewhere on the better half.

Caps has been playing very fluctuating games. Winning Tampa on Sunday, winning the Rangers, who're on a roll, but then at times losing in big numbers, like 2-7 against the Thrashers.

I have to agree with davey, in that it is even more important than the results to date that the team just seems to have really re-invented itself... I try not to be influenced by announcers/media's opinions so I will say that I still "don't believe the hype". But, after having seen now three Rangers games as well as a dozen or so other NHL games I've seen enough to say I believe the team will make a sturdy challenge all year.

They have become a bit of Minstrel's EHM All-Stars team rostering and giving NHL playtime to a lot of players I've counted on as an EHM GM so that adds to my enjoyment watching them :D
