Which Players do you Share your Birthday with???

Post by getzlaf15 »

I love this, i don't why, but im fascinated by who i share my b'day with, so i went onto wikipedia and typed in my birthdate, 21st April, and i found out i have it with Vinny Lecavlier , Eddy Belfour :thdn: and Alexander Edler.

Who does everyone else share there special day with?

Heh. Toe Blake, Billy Reay. And Steve McKenna.

Guess McKenna will turn out to be one hell of a coach like me. :-D

It was with one of the older console hockey games that I realised I share my birthday with Aki Berg. Not a huge thing, but I too am still fascinated by it. There's probably others that I'm unaware of, too.

(And slightly off-topic, but I also share my birthday with Rick Wright. What a co-inkydink that the keyboardist of my all-time favourite band has my birthday :joy: )

Events on my birthday (20th March):
1815 - Napoleon enters Paris after escaping from Elba with a regular army of 140,000 and a volunteer force of around 200,000, beginning his "Hundred Days" rule. ( :D )
1916 - Albert Einstein publishes his general theory of relativity. ( :D )
1995 - A sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway kills 12 and wounds 1,300 persons. ( :thdn: )
2003 - 2003 invasion of Iraq: In the early hours of the morning, the United States and three other countries begin military operations in Iraq. ( :thdn: )

Births:
1811 - Napoleon II of France, (d. 1832) ( :D )
1882 - René Coty, French President (d.1962) ( )
1916 - Pierre Messmer, French politician and Prime Minister (d. 2007) ( )
1948 - Bobby Orr ( :joy: )
1957 - Spike Lee, American film director ( :o )

Deaths:
1413 - King Henry IV of England (b. 1367)
1929 - Ferdinand Foch, French commander of allied forces in World War I (b. 1851)

That's just one hockey player, but what a legend! 8-)

Chris Gratton and John LeClair are the two most notable ones, I think.

I remember that, it was in the news here in Finland too, Espen hitting the puck in some little girls face... sad day indeed... not that easy for Knutsen to get over either, I think... :\

Dunno who's born on 12th May though... not a frequent user of Wikipedia...

The puck was actually deflected into the stands by Flames defenseman Derek Morris.

Making it even sadder: Going to that game was a birthday gift from her dad.

Sorry, back on topic... ;)

I found three hockey players born on 7th of july. A latvian hockey player Kārlis Skrastiņš and two canadians, Patrick Lalime and some rather unknown player called Joe Sakick. Anyone know if he has done anything special? ;p
