Bah. He will get 7.5 mill per season for 15 seasons and a no movement clause. Oh wait...maybe not. JFJ was fired.
But I can easily see Campbell getting that much money. He is young still, he is good still, and clearly with the market drying up with everyone signing already will be one of (if not the) top guys out there. He will be in big demand for someone.

Dan Boyle re-signed. 6 years / 40m. according to http://blogs.tampabay.com/lightning/200 ... signs.html
Don't know how reliable that site is though
Edit: Prospal to Philly for Picard and a pick, apparently reported by TSN and VS, nothing on their site yet though

I think that Prospal was acquired to replace Simon Gagne, who is out for the rest of the season. From what i've heard, the conditionnal pick is a 2nd if the Flyers make the playoffs, and a 3rd if they don't. (seen on rds.ca, so it's in French, so no link...)
Sutter made it official that he won't move Tanguay. LINK
It obviously kills the Tanguay for Ryder (Mtl) rumor. Then Huselius has been rumored to be the one on the go in Calgary, but i don't see it pretty serious. I even heard a rumor of Huselius for Marleau... Doesn't look serious to me.

Hossa and Richards have not happened. Those are just rumours. Don't trust anything except TSN. It is the only website that is always confirmed deals.
Sutter can say all he wants, if a deal comes up for Tanguay that makes sense they move him
And Janssen for Salvador...the Devils stole a guy. Salvador is a good 5-6 dman.

I don't think so. Buffalo failed to sign him to a 3-year extension, so I guess not.bruins72 wrote:That's not a bad haul for Buffalo. Campbell is a rental, right?
Other rumored names are Khabibulin, Tuomo Ruttuu from Chicago, Fedorov from Blue Jackets, and a lot more.
Richards is officially in Dallas. With Holmqist! For Jussi Jokinen, Halpern and Smith.

Sorry, I wasn't sure what "Rental" means.bruins72 wrote:If Buffalo failed to sign Campbell to an extension, that would make him a rental (UFA this summer). I haven't seen anything saying he re-signed as part of the trade.
I've been hearing Richards to Dallas but haven't seen confirmation yet. Are you sure it's official?
It is confirmed, also Huet to Capitals...What the Dickens? for second round pick. Man, didn't see that coming. I guess they are making space for someone else? Hossa maybe?

I'm seeing Richards to Dallas now but they haven't said what's going to Tampa.
As for Huet going to Washington, I'm guessing they just figured now was the time. They've got Halek and Price. Why not get something for Huet when everyone is in the trading mood? Washington is probably thinking about life about Kolzig.

Okay, now I'm hearing that the deal was Brad Richards and Johan Holmqvist to Dallas for Mike Smith, Jussi Jokinen, and Jeff Halpern.
EDIT:
Now I'm hearing that the Blackhawks sent Ruutu to Carolina for Ladd.
I'm also hearing Florida sent Salei to Colorado for Skrastins and a 3rd.

Happy Habsw got rid of Huet, they didnt lose him to UFA and to me whats better the press here, who are NUTS will stop the goalie contreversy here they love.
The Habs are a team that will be better in the future, this year is just gravy, a second rounder in 2009 may nto be alot, but it beats nothign and now Price will play most nights liek he has done all his life and get better and better.

Columbus discussing with Colorado about Adam Foote. And another rumors about Colorado involving Rob Blake
Okay, confirmed, Adam Foote to Colorado, still in play Hossa, Roloson, Blake, Fedorov, Ehrhoff, Kilger (rumored he's going to Pittsburgh), McCabe, Kubina, Jokinen. Two hours left:)
