Is Hull in the database though?johnny_rudeboy wrote:I drafted a RW with both US and Canadian citizenship, with very high consistency and is described as relaxed and casual, it got to be Hull, doesnt it? He have 17 in slapshot at the age of 19 btw.

Just to add to this, they will also have 'Mental Characteristics' listed in the report card section of their scouting report.B. Stinson wrote:Regens will have a 'Consistency' attribute shown in their profile.

Yashin's Regen? What to do?
So, I'm having a tough time deciding what to do with one of my top propects.
There's is a picture below and, as you can see, he is amazing! However, he has a consistency rating of... 2! My scaouts are drooling over his potential, but also point out his personality as mercenary and dour(?). I got him 30th overall in the 2014 draft so, for his talent, I guess it's a good pick. His determination and work rate are good, I guess, at 12 and 16.
I have another offensive prospect just as good as him (wich I suspect is Sundin's regen, Ludwig Paulson), but after that it's not as great for forwards in my prospect pool. He is truly great, but my fear is beeing stabed on my with a 8mi dollars/year contract request after his entry level deal.
He has been playing in the RSL with ok stats for a young guy, I guess, 20+ goals and 30 points each of the last two seasons, at 40 games apiece. Midway through the season, though, he wanted out of the team.

Consistency means they play well one game and all games (high number) or they play well one game, and not the next 10 (low#)...you never know whatcha gonna get...Just like Yashin.
This number has been mentioned in this thread above. So if you look through this thread you will find out what it means.
As for the Yashin regen. Sign him to a 20 year contract, then buy him out after 5.
Or trade him straight up for the Daigle regen

In his personality, I can obviously figure out "mercenary", but what does "dour" means? Doesn't care? All my scout say he is a tireless player and a model professional, but I take their word with a grain of salt.
About signing him and riding as far as possible, well, I probably will. But I like consistency year in and year out in my roster, and not a big fan of trading and signing players every season, more like playing my top players until they're too old and replace him with a prospect who I knew would make it well in advance. As the game goes long, the offer of top players takes a significant hit, or so I've experienced.
He'll turn 20 soon, so I'll probably let him play the AHL and see if I can trade him for a top5 pick in next year's draft, if there is a prospect I like.

In EHM, my guess that this would mean he is a room killer. Chemistry and teamwork do play a factor and someone who sulks continuously in the locker room is likely to have a negative effect on the team.pinheirobcp wrote:In his personality, I can obviously figure out "mercenary", but what does "dour" means?
This player has an influence of 2! Would there be an effective way to raise this or is this a "non-trainable" stat?

I believe it is a mental stat, and they change a bit over time depending on what goes on around him and with age. At least I have seen them change. Not 100% though if influence is one of the ones I have seen change. I am pretty sure it is. However, you are not going to make a guy with 2 influence develop into a 15 over time as he matures, that is for sure.

I can confirm that Influence is an attribute that MAY go up.
I gave M.Staal the "C" his 2nd or 3rd year into NHL. At the time, he had a 16 (yellow for sure). He was the 2nd highest on my team at the time. The other player with better influence was on my 3rd d pair so I just gave Staal the C.
Now I am starting the 7th season, so its probably the 5th for staal. His influence is 19 now.
I think Bobby Ryan's increased from 15 to 18 over the same span as well.

I was hoping that was the case. Otherwise you'd have to keep an eye out for prospects with a high influence coming out of junior. In my Columbus game the stock roster had 3 players (Flood, Methot & Hendrikx) all with influences over 75 (15)?! Even though they hadn't won rubbish. I was hoping that I wasn't going to have to make one of these guys the captain in a couple of years.

So I've got a regen I drafted and I'm really curious as to who he is. I can't figure it out just by looking at him. I figured I'd throw out his info here and see if anyone had any guesses.
I'm currently in the 09-10 season and I drafted this guy in the 3rd round of the 09 draft. Here is a screen shot of him...
SCREENSHOT!
What I found unusual was that he was a natural center that also played RD. This could be pretty useful! He's also got decent attributes for an 18 year old. I'll be keeping an eye on him!

That is odd. I have one of those too, but not from Sweden. Hmmm...wonder who it could be? Just by looking I have no idea.
(Mine is from Russia..guess who that would be...such a floater he is even early on, and not later)
mine from Russia does not have the RD tag, just says he can play it competently.
