Hey guys, just out of interest I thought it would be fun to use the actual Phoenix Coyotes line up for an entire season. Which mean I can bring in no new players for the first season.
I think when you can just go and sign whichever players you like it eventually takes alot of the fun away.
So the line up would be:
Meuller - Perrault - Doan
Hossa - Reinprecht - Vrbata
Winnick - Hanzal - Weller
Tjarnqvist - Kapanen - York
Ballard - Morris
Jovonovski - Michalek
Yandle - Boynton
Bryzgalov
Tellqvist
Now - This team SUCKS!!
What I need help with is getting the Coyotes tactics right. I know they are a "in your face/high energy" kind of team so I need the help of the BLUELINE Masterminds.
HELP! Thank
The Real Coyotes - HELP NEEDED!

Actual line up? Or actual roster? That would make more sense to me rather than following their latest depth chart update on coyotes.nhl.com
Anyway, this looks like a bit of challenge as you said no to UFAs signings, neither trades(?) in the first season. But nothing is impossible. It's matter of tactics for sure. I would go the first two lines offensive, other two defensive-minded, if you plan short-term career, I think I would go for a D skills practice for all the guys on 3rd/4th line...as for defense...I would pair Jov with Morris and give them most of the ice-time.
But it's a pain in the ass as I look at the roster...no superb center, only a small depth on wings, I would deffinitly mix up the lines a bit, but whatever.
And I am deffinitly not a mastermind in tactics, I am just an ordinary guy
, maybe you should wait for help from more skilled gamers.
Anyway, go Yotes!

If you intend of playing for a few years with Coyotes, you might want to get Lisen at least on 4th line and bring him up a few lines as the years go by. He is my 3rd best player after Doan and Crosby. His stats are high speed and average everthing else. He's on 2nd line and doing very well for me. My 2nd favorite player on my coyotes team after Doan.
I'm not very good at Practice stuff yet, so his other stats may have gone up better f I had known what I was doing. But definately keep an eye on Lisen.
