Creatle-A-Player Question

Post by PoorOldTom »

Let's say I'm creating a player with CA 0 and PA -1. Could the random CA turn out higher than the potential or will it stay within the 1-20 boundaries?

I believe his current ability could be higher as the random ability is in between 1-200, from here, the player could detoriate. -1 is not a very good potential ability.

I was asking this question because many players, mainly swedish, have 0 CA and a PA of -2,-3. So I downloaded the Save Game Editor and compared those players in a new savegame. I checked at least 20 names just to be sure and their CA never turned out higher than their PA. That's pretty cool. I will test with brand new players and report back later.

EDIT: I created five players with CA 0 and PA -1. None has a CA higher than his PA.

I don't think CA can exceed PA. I think PA is the highest CA they could achieve if they never got injured, had the best coaching & training facilities etc..
