Filtering to show only UFA's

Post by Nurgle »

I was wondering what ways/methods/tools in EHM2007 that people use to view available UFA's?
At the end of my most recent season I saw plenty of notifications that UFA's were available, but I never saw a "quick and easy" way to track who was still on the market.

Any help?
Thanks

I don't use it, but the 'Player Search' is probably the easiest way. Just go into the player search, set the 'contract status'(in the filters menu) to UFA, and then sort those results by reputation.

That'll give you a list of all current UFA's, with the most popular players(the NHL-worthy guys) at the top.

And as you'll see in the 'filters', you can narrow the search even more by playing with the various other filters.

When you head to the player search screen or whatever. You can just simply click on the filter and it will give you the option to show all current UFA's available. Kind of keeps you from going in there and changing the way you view their contracts and so forth, but that is up to you if you want to use my way or what B. Stinson said above.

All in all, either way will work just fine.

Thank you both,
I am still getting adjusted to using in-game Filters, and learning more efficient ways to process the mounds and mounds of information thati s available.

Nurgle, you should really check out the TBL EHM GUIDE. There's a link to it at the top of the page. It will help explain many of the ins and outs of the game.

I'm going to change the title of this thread so it's a little more descriptive. Maybe it will help another person if they're looking for that same info.

I have read through the TBL EHM GUIDE, but I was unaware of the ability so search exclusively for UFA's using the filters. I will read through it again today at work.
Thanks,

It may not specifically cover that but it does cover many of the game's other basics.

You could even read the manual that comes with the game as well. You should be able to find it in the actual installation folder on your computer.

It's full of stuff as well, but can be somewhat small on details.
