I don't know that, but on a related issue, I've been wondering what would be the optimal number of assistant coaches?

Does it matter if I only have two, or should I have three? Four? :?

My budget is limited...

I only had 2, simmed a few days, and the computer decided it was necessary to hire 3 more. /shrug

You can have five; if you have five and let one go his 'slot' in the practice checkmarks box will be empty. It looks a bit odd but also makes it apparent your can have five 8-)

You can have 15 scouts and at least three trainers/physios maybe five...

Tasku knows this already of course but for others, if you check out the EHM Guide Arch and I wrote up there's a section about hiring coaches and what to look for, it in a lot more detail than this which is "off the top of my head". You can check out the online version of the Guide at the link atop the forum up there  ;)

Okay, so coaches... :-k First off you are shooting for each coach handling four or better yet three areas only for best results.

So, I usually end up with a offensive, defensive and goal coach, a tactical coach and a motivation/discipline coach that I put in charge of conditioning. That's five. Of course it would be nice to have a coach that could do say goal, tactics and conditioning but it just doesn't work that way usually.

Usually my head coach is worthless as an actual coach, except with Man Management and good Judging Ability/Potential so he'll know what he's talking about if he ever has to reformulate lines or give me a coach report that is even partially helpfull... seems to be hard to get people good in those areas that also have decent actual coaching numbers. I've had coaches that I guess just watch over the other coaches and collect their paycheck. :dunno:
