Nope. I wait the two minutes, sometimes longer with my computer fan going whir, whir, whir
The only tricks I can tell you of are:
1. While waiting go to the can
2. while waiting go make coffee
3. next wait, go pour coffee
4. go have a smoke
5. go make a scotch
6. watch a game on tv
7. talk to your wife

Just to make it crystal clear: we're not allowed to be in possession of more than 2 picks in a certain round at any time of the season, right? Not only on draft day. So dealing to get 4 first round picks and then use 2 of them in a trade (which leaves just 2 for the draft) is illegal, right?
And acquiring a second pick in a round, trading it (to go down to one) and re-acquiring another one (up to two) is legal, right?
That's how i understood things, but just want to be sure...

In all my time browing TBL, i've never done a challenge. I must say this one looks good. Before, i always seem to get interested in the challenges before the deadlines, but if i'm reading the new rules correctly, I can join at anytime and be in, but the overall challenge ends in August? (Ie, if I finish 3 seasons, i'll be scored for .1, .2, and .3 even if everyone else has 6?)
If so, this will be great, since I can finally get in on this even with a late start

Yes, you understood it correctly. You can join in on this challenge at any time. Whatever seasons you have in the book by the August deadline will be counted. Some people might only get a couple seasons done. I know there are a few people here who will probably get 7 season done. Even if you only get 1 season done, that 1 season will count. We figured this way was a little more relaxed so people wouldn't be left out due to a late start. It's also nice for people who start now and then maybe get busy for a month and don't really have time to play but then come back and want to play some more. You don't have to worry about missing season deadlines. We're using one deadline for the whole challenge now.
So read the rules (read them very carefully... we've had to give out several penalties that could've been avoided had the rules been followed) and join in the fun!

Yep, i read through all the changes, and it looks fun. I may not "enter" for a couple of days as i've not used the BL db before and will want to make sure I get that set up and going correctly, but you may see me enter by end of week
(BTW, of all the rule changes the single deadline at the end has to be the one that makes me happiest!)

Everyone must post screenshots for players in and out at the 20 game mark. We need to make sure the non-NTNB players aren't trading before that mid-October date.
I'm going to go and clarify that other post I made about screenshots. I forgot to say that the other (40, 60, and 82 game) player in and out screens are just for NTNB.

Quick question on the roster selection (core players) that maybe I'm not understanding. I get for the first season, you select your core. Next season you bring in the HG, and the core requirements begin to shrink. My question is, does the core have to be players that you elected at the begining? or if I finish Season 1 with say Auld as a core player, but Season 2 I want to use another eligible player in his tier that wasn't labeled as core before?
Or will all the people I list as "core" in season 1 be the core, and as I work down through seasons I can just let some of them go?
