Wow....it looks like I'm starting the season with the big boys. It'll be interesting to see what kind of playing time I get.

Hey I was signed by RWs, and sent down on loan to Kelowna. So, you're not the only one. But dude, it will pay off in the future.

Finally :thup: NHL :thup: ! :-o
Thanks to the coaching stuff in Windsor, it was a good place to learn there. :-)
The latest progress: Balance up 2, Anticipation and Creativity up by 1, all Technical attributes are up by 1, and hitting and positioning are up by 2. :joy:
Also gone up an inch and 6lbs (6-5, 213). Just feeling great! :-p
Now, let's take a look on my player's development from 14 to 19 yo:
Acceleration-14 (up by 2)|| Anticipation - 17(+3) || Checking - 8 (+4)
Agility - 10(+2)|| Creativity - 16(+3)|| Deflections - 11(+4)
Balance - 10(+5) || Teamwork - 7 (+2) || Deking - 13 (+4)
Speed - 16(+2)
Stamina - 17(+5) || Hitting - 10 (+5)
Strength - 9 (+3) || Off the Puck - 13 (+4)
Passing - 14 (+4)
Pokecheck - 8 (+4)
Positioning - 13 (+4)
Slapshot - 14 (+4)
Stickhandling - 14 (+4)
Wristshot - 17 (+4)
Also gone up from 6-2, 198 to 6-5, 213 :-D
Still a lot thinks to work on, particularly to improve a teamwork and strength! :-k
Good luck, my boy! :-D

Windsor's coaches didn't get through to me quite so well, but it was better than nothing. Balance, Checking, and Passing up by 1, Strength is up 2.

This should be interesting. The Maple Leafs have both Andre Vissia and myself (Jeffrey Hartfield) on the roster as LD. He's slightly better in technical abilities, particularly deking, off the puck, passing, and slap shot. I'm slightly better physically, mainly agility and strength, and we're nearly identical mentally.

We'll probably battle for ice time, which can be a good thing or a bad thing for each of us. I'll likely lose out based on salary ($900K to $600K), potential (he was drafted early first round, I was late first round), and experience (he was up with the club for a while last year). Being a right-handed shot, it's a shame he's not RD, as that would be a cool pairing of two TBLers.

If I had to guess, I'd say Vissia will be on the 2nd pair and #2 PP, and I'll be on the 3rd pair and occasional #2 PK. Of course, I don't know who else is on the Leafs roster at this stage. We could be the best two they have. If not, I'll also predict that I'm dealt before the deadline.

Wow, big off season improvements for me!

Balance, Strength, Anticipation, Influence, Blocker, Glove, Poke Check, Positioning and Reflexes all up by one. Rebound and Recovery up by two! :-D

Here's hoping for a good season in Kelowna.

Creativity 17, anticipation 17, passing 20 -- I'm one of the best playmakers in the world going by that rankings. Now Panthers, give me someone who can score on all those glorious scoring chances I'm going to set up and we can win a Cup or two!! ;)

Just had a quick check and it looks like you've been sent down in October :( You're back in Windsor. It's probably for the best seeing as Vissia is only 3rd liner(although he is on #2 PP & PK)

The Lewiston first line is : Roux-Pysent-McConnell which is also the 1st pp line(5-4 & 5-3). Roux & McConnell are first line 4-5 PK & Pysent is 2nd line 3-5 PK Centre. 4-4 First line is Roux & Pysent with McConnell on the second line. At the beginning of November top 3 scorers are Roux, McConnell, Pysent. Nice to see we've got a TBL team on the go.

Maybe when I upload the some saved games, I'll set a challenge to see who can win the Stanley cup with only TBL players 8-)

D88: For some reason you were released by Swift Current, plus you've now signed a 2-year deal with the 99ers, earning $127k & $137k a year resp.

NHL-wise some good numbers(offensively) have been put up by: Dinnes, Lauer & Rahl.

Mattias William, you're backup netminder at Nashville, you've only played 1 game by 1st November - I can send you down to juniors if you want or you can battle it out with Miika Wiikman.

Update will be done tonight

It's definitely for the best that I was sent back to Windsor. Now I can dominate the OHL rather than being a healthy scratch in the NHL. The Leafs made an intelligent decision for once.

Wow, what a start to the season for me!

Matthew McCormick:
Played 12 games with 9 wins, 2 losses, 1 tie, 1.65 GAA, 0.942 %, 6 shutouts and a rating of 8.67

I have a shutout in *HALF* of my starts! :-o That's insane! And I'm the Devils #1 prospect and #4 goalie. =D> I'll force Brodeur in to retirement if I have to. :-D

Hi Calv - just a little query about my guy.

Flexx Torso: Wants to move to a bigger club, wanted by Carolina Hurricanes.

He's already with the 'Canes. Does this mean they'll try to trade him?

I think it means they're either scouting him, or planning on signing him up to the full squad at some point

#9 RW means you are 9th in Islander's depth chart of right wingers.

So from the looks of who's posted so far I seem to be doing slightly above average. I can live with my development, interesting to see exactly what mental stats change and which don't though, may change my drafting strategies. I wonder if this holds true for 05?
