Part-time/Full-time contracts

Post by Mr Leth »

Hmm, can't seem to find anything on this subject.

What's the difference between part-time and full-time contracts in this game?
I'm playing with my own amateur club in the Swedish Allsvenskan and I had all my players signed on part-time.
But now we won the league and went up to the Elitserien (the top league).
In real life you'd sign all players on full-time since no one would accept part-time in the top league.
I think that option disappeared like twenty years ago, at least...
But anyway, what does the options actually do to this game??

As far as I know, it basically determines how much they can make salary-wise(part-timers will of course be cheaper), and how much practice/training they'll be able to put in(part-timers only getting a small portion of practice/training time compared to full-timers).

The latter is probably the biggest one. It'd be bad to be in a top league, but only having your players training on a part-time basis.

Ah thanks.
It sure makes sense if I'd be losing in the training department.
I'll sign them on full-time now and monitor what happens to their attributes.
With part-time they never did seem to get particularly tired by the trainings, no matter what...
