Question about the 1.5 roster file... Before i could sign Clutterbuck during the off-season of the 06-07 season like Off-season in 07 now i cant for some reason just wondering why that is. Even though he doesnt turn 20 till like october/november i was still able to send him down to my farm team in October even tho he doesnt turn 20 till Nov 18th... Just wondering why i am having such a problem with this or what i can do to fix it since Clutterbck played for Houston in the 07-08 season.

Hmm... Many of the guys you listed are already in the 1.5 DB... Maybe not all, i didn't check, but some are clearly in already...

Many of those ARE in the database. The reason many are not, is because for 1.5 it was based on the original freaking database. We did not add players in or create new ones. Some were on the radar when the game was made by SI. Some were not.

Bottom line is...since we made the decision not to change attributes or create players...many younger players are missing from the TBL DB's right through version 1.5.

HOnestly MkOivuFan...if you actually read the thread...you would already know that. It seems we always have to tell you at least 3 times before you get it.

Read the thread. A very early post says the changes that were made are somewhere on this site. Honestly, I am not and noone else is going to babysit you on this.

Really making little sense with your question. You are concerned players are not in the game. Well some are not. Becuase in real life they were not on the radar of anyone almost 3 years ago. Now..they are. So they are not in the game at all. Faked or unfaked.

Then there are players that are from NCAA or leagues that SI did not get any licenses for...those are listed on this site and the changes were made to them. These ones can be found on the site somewhere if you read

1. the read me file of the database.
2. the thread.

So...please do. You are confusing at least 2 different things and need to get a handle on the way the edited databases work. I am tired of trying to explain it to you. READ READ READ READ READ

A side note for the 1.5 ECHL rosters... Not sure if you guys are going to change them or not but what i did was moved Elmira from UHL to ECHL and Long Beach to UHL. Since Columbia, Texas are not longer in ECHL anymore i kept in Columbia other wise the game would of crashed but then i added the new Ontario Calif team into the game... Theres some switching u have to do with the standings to get it all to work but i got it done if anyone needs help with this please let me know and i can swing my changes over for the roster update...

ECHL was on the list of leagues "to be updated", but was dropped out due to time constraints.

We're now secretly working on the 08-09 update, and I doubt we'll be doing anymore changes on this last year's version.

As Tasku said, we are working with Lidas to support his 08/09 roster update. This will include updated attributes and created players. Two years have passed since SI's DB - the attributes are way out of date and there's plenty of prospects missing - hence why this season we are opting to update attributes and create players.

A list of players not in the original DB (or TBL v1.5) is always welcome as it'll help us with the new update.

I'm adding two years to each and every player/staff, so everyone will have the same age at start as they do in RL.
You will still start in 2006, but everything will look as it does in 2008.
