In the editor you can see those positons that one can play.
I'm just wondering what experience that jugdement is based on.
For example Peter Forsberg's primary position is center but he is still competent at the right wing position in the game.
Did Forsberg ever play on the wing (maybe in juniors?).
Many of the players in ehm can play two or even three positions but in reality i always had the impression
that most players in the NHL can't adopt to a new position that quickly, especially the very talented among them.
To me it often seems like they are gravitated on the ice towards their original position.
And those who are known for their versatility you find them more likely on the checking line than on the top two lines.
Now my question is: Can you think of any top player whom you remember to perform equally good at several positions??

NOpe...he played RW a fair bit at one point with Sakic and Hejduk in Colorado...especially on the pp.
And yep...there are a few. Right off the hop I can think of Sergei Fedorov who played alot of D one year in Detroit and was amazing.
Also, Wendel Clark could play D and was actually drafted as a Dman by Toronto.
Lindros played both C and W, Mark Messier played Wing early in his career, sometimes with Wayner. Chris Drury plays C and W, so does Rolston and both play both spots equally well.
Pavol Demitra plays C and W.
So yeah..quite a few. And there are a ton I am forgetting. I know that for sure.

Brodeur is a joke me thinks.
Fedorov played about 35 games back on the blueline. It was not a small amount of time. And yeah, he has played some D for the Caps this year too. Belak only plays where the team is the weakest. Gotta fill that 12th or 6th spot somehow in Florida Toronto...since they suck
