Oh, great! Thanksbatdad wrote:Yeah you can edit the cap. We did for the TBL updates too!. What he means is for guys like Paul Stastny they will not have their extensions in the game at this time, that they received this year. So that the salary they get paid this season (the last year of the original deal they had) is still their cap hit. If he were to add in the extensions, the cap hits would go up tremendously...from about 1 million to 6 million in Stastny's case.
What that means is that for the 2nd year in the game Stastny will be RFA unless you sign him mid season, etc.

Batdad is correct about both the cap and how I changed the contracts. The changes I made are:batdad wrote:Yeah you can edit the cap. We did for the TBL updates too!. If there is a player who has a 1M cap hit this year, but has signed an extension of 2*4M
(2007 1M, 2008 4M, 2009 4M) I would have him on a 3 year, 3M contract (average for the 3 years), but since this screws up the team cap hits, I have decided to keep such a player on a 1 year, 1M contract instead.
Hope this makes things clearer =)

I'am not good in database, is there somonene who is good?selne wrote:I will try to answer my speculation on ehmfans' request.![]()
When you start a new franchise the game creates a new staff profile for your human GM.
You can't create it a prior to the start in the database.
You can take a look at your profile with the saved game editor but i'm not sure if likes/dislikes can be edited then.

The "person" who makes this game is SI Interactive / SEGA europe and they have said they stop the production of the game temporary in 2007. We are waiting to get a new version some day, if there's any, and we will wish for a version full modable!

A fully modable version of EHM...be nice wouldn't it? I'd happily pay £100+ for such a game if they made a couple of tweaks along with it like in AI and training. It'd keep me occupied for years on end.Alex the Tall wrote:We are waiting to get a new version some day, if there's any, and we will wish for a version full modable!
Dream on, huh

Well OOTP is fully modable (i think), but i don't want to talk about it in this topic... It's not the right place!bobmcgoo wrote:A fully modable version of EHM...be nice wouldn't it? Ok, i've read the thread ans just seen a post which says you have to use a database to change all the DOB's!!!!!!!! Seems abit to complicated to me as i'm not very computer savvy (and i'm sure i'm not the only one). Why can't we just put them in the database folder like before?
Any chance of an idiots guide? lol

Re: Roster Problems
If you patched the game to v3.04 and extracted the database into the proper folder you should be able to chooseblatt81 wrote:Need help!!! Roster Problems
I did exactley what the directions told me and nothing came up. When I look at the EHM file itself it shows the Lidas file in there but not when I actually start a new game it just runs normaly the way it always has.
