Hi There,
Unfortunately still not working i am following the instructions but dont get any options when loading new game. Now i downloaded another older roster update and that icon was a brown folder and i could either open the download or save it. Now when i try and download the latest update all that comes up is a white icon and i can either find or save (say to desktop) cant open it. When its downloaded i then send it to zip then extract to the recommended place and it doesnt work, can anyone help as obviosuly i am doing something wrong. Now on the older roster update in the file that i downloaded there are lots of different files where as in the latest download there is only one file LidasDB1.0 but no other folders etc so i guess thats why its not being picked up as another datebase,
any help would be great.

I can't get this to work!!!
I've downloaded into data\database and so I now have a file called LidasDB1.0 in the database folder (size 5918 KB). It's a RAR file and when I go into the game and start a new game, I don't get anything asking about databases or anything, I just get the default game. This isn't the first time I've used an update (used old un-faking patches and a roster update for last season and they worked fine), so I don't see why I'm having these problems.
Edit - Forgot to mention, it said nothing about extracting the file, and my computer doesn't know what to open an RAR file with. When I go to the database editor it can only see index in the database file which is the standard game.
Edit 2 - Well I've managed to figure how to get it to ask which database to use, but I can put the default one next to this new one (new one in that its the default with that RAR file sitting in it). But they're both the same. I'm guessing the RAR file has a whole database folder of stuff in it, but as I can't open it thats fairly useless. No options to extract

What do I open the file with? As in which program do I open it into?getzlaf15 wrote:Just go into the RAR file and copy and paste the file into the Database folder.
And secondly, once I open the RAR file it will contain the contents to a file. But you can only put files and other folders into the database folder so what use are file contents?

The original file you download isn't compressed, so the only way to extract it is to compress it first, and whats the point of that? You just end up with the file you started with.getzlaf15 wrote:Create a folder and then extract them into that, or move them into the file. You might need winRAR.
winRAR is a program I guess? Where do you get it from?
Is the download meant to contain everything that goes into the standard database file in the game?
