They can say all they want about Crosby and Malkin getting record breaking votes, but all of Jagr's votes came before this website nonsense with most (If not all) voting being done at actual games by the fans in attendance.batdad wrote:Internet voting, vote as much as you want. The fan voting is ridiculous, i mean some are worthy of the place (Getzlaf), but Niedermayer and Giguere also of the Ducks, wouldn't have been my choice, surely there has to be some Wings or Sharks in there? And Hutch, your right, Komi...who?
Also... Corey Perry has been suspended for 4 games for a nasty elbow on Claude Giroux.

The rosters has now been announced, and Komisarek is in, and so is Tim Thomas.

I was glad to see Thomas, Chara, and Savard added to the roster.joehelmer wrote:The rosters has now been announced, and Komisarek is in, and so is Tim Thomas.![]()

Krejci has really taken over the 2nd line center job on the Bruins... even before Bergeron went out injured again. He's so creative and smart. He's got this knack for slowing down or speeding up the play to suit his needs. He's got a great future ahead of him in the NHL but I don't know if he belongs in the ASG this year.
The young stars game would definitely be a good place for him. I'd also put Blake Wheeler in there. I'd love to add Lucic to that mix but that might be pushing it with too many Bruins and Lucic has had an up and down year. I'd say Matt Hunwick belongs in the young stars game too. He's having a heck of a season for a 1st year defenseman.

Lucic and Wheeler were invited to the ASG's Rookies vs Sophomores game. Stunningly, Krejci was not.

I just don't like Anaheim, no matter how much I like the players they have.
It's their history. Being that fat, spoiled kid owned by rich dad, Disney, mismanaged, disgrace to hockey.
I know all that has changed, but I just can't get over it. In tonight's game I was rooting for New Jersey, who clearly didn't deserve to win. - Which they didn't.

Yeah, I'm the same, NHL team named after a kids movie, come on!Tasku wrote:I just don't like Anaheim, no matter how much I like the players they have.

There is no team that i hate or dislike at all. It's always about the players for me.
On every team there is at least one player that i like
and at least one that i don't like.
But what about Josef Vasicek and Ray Emery? Has anyone seen them play in the KHL??
I kinda miss Vasicek, he used to surprise with some good stickhandlings.
Also he was the first player that i traded for in EHM 2005.

Garon has starter credentials that will get Fleury to feel pushed for the job. It's a testament to the "Here today, gone tomorrow" life of pro sports, as Mathieu was the man between the pipes for the Oil last season.
But I can't say I get it from Edmonton's perspective. They're trading the guy who should be their number one, acquiring a career backup, and still not solving the three headed monster in goal. It lightens the cap for them, and maybe they're looking to a Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers/Dany Sabourin tandem for next season. But in the meantime, they've still got their prospect goalie not getting any playing time. Unless this isn't the last move, and maybe Roloson gets jettisoned?

Yep. But I don't think the Oil care that much about him. Pittsburg just did not want to pay his full salary in the minors. Dany had to move for Pitt to do the Garon deal. Oilers just took him to make the deal for Stone and the pick, and will send him to Springfield. If he gets claimed...he gets claimed.

I am sure, as batdad alluded to, that there's either frequent (Or infrequent) inquiries into Vinnie's availability, especially with the complete nosedive this team has taken.
It's kind of a shame that TB has tanked again, but I only say that because I played street hockey with Ryan Craig. It's a shame that he had offensive promise in his first year (Only Richards scored more goals as a Lightning rookie) but hasn't been able to follow up due to injuries and being in and out of the lineup sheet.
Otherwise, this team has been getting what's coming to them for a while. You put too much into too few, and things eventually will fall apart. They had great role players in the Cup season (Andreychuk, a sturdy and dependable 'Bulin wall) but ever since then what they've been banking on hasn't been enough.
