I was thinking trading Bergenheim for Tzachuk, because I need new LWs, several of my RWs are playing as LWs at the moment. But the game after I sent a trade proposal to Blues for the trade Bergenheim scored 3 points (1+2) for me, I take that as a sign to keep him. :-D

B72: Yeah lets hope. It has happened to me before, but never in a challenge. Never had an issue with corruption, but we shall see.

Bergenheim is really hot and cold. I dunno.

Oh yeah, my crash...Oct 14. Day before I could make a deal to help this useless club.

Bergenheim has done okay for me but if the right deal came along, I'd trade him. The one who has really surprised me is Tambellini. He's scored 13 goals in 14 games for me so far.

Got the trade with Blues accepted, but I decided to delay it one week to see if Bergenheim continue to deliver like last game or if he's going to be ice cold again. And like B72, if I find someone better, and younger, than Tzachuk, I will trade Bergenheim then.

Batdad, who are you referring to? Bergenheim on Joe's team or Tambellini on mine?

On my team, I've got Tambellini on a line with Weight and Guerin. Weight leads the league in points but Tambellini leads the team in goals. Guerin is doing well too though, just not as good.

Ok one more question and I think I've got it.

Am I permitted to lower the detail level as long as I coach Islander games?

You mean the in-game details like highlights and all of the speeds on the in-game simulations? Yes, as long as you coach the games and you actually watch the games (you'll see a bunch of dots moving around the screen), you're okay. I actually set mine to show key highlights only and I've got everything set to fast forward.

Okay, this is really odd. I get a news item saying that DiPietro has resumed skating after returning from a shin injury. It says he's expected back to full contact practice in 2 months. That makes sense. Now when I click on DiPietro to look at him, he's at 50% health and it says he's day to day. This is really odd. I bet he's back in a week or so. What's up with the healing powers on Long Island? Are the trainers giving guys steroids and HGH?

I wish I would lose Tambellini for two weeks, and everyone except Guerin, Weight and Streit.

Once a player "resumes skating" he goes day-to-day. He'll be that way for awhile until he will magically be 100%,

Nope. Not always true. My Witt is at 90% and has resumed skating, but he is still 2 months off as listed on his screen

Yann Danis is actually my backup goaltender. Mike Smith is my starter. I elected to trade for him as soon as possible. Tampa asked for a 7th round pick, and I gladly accepted. I didn't think I'd be moving any picks this season anyway. I'm looking to move some players around on defense. I'm at 12 games and all of the ir you start with are at 3 months except for RDP at 4 months. I started off doing well but after about the first 7 games I've hit a skid and am trying to mix things up.

YAnn Denis and Joey MAcdonald are alternating for me.

Danis 2-1-1 2.95 .910 1SO
MacDonald 2-0-1 1.58 .940 0 SO

They are both doing very very well as far as I am concerned.

Anyway, I decided I needed a couple things to get this team going. Unlike many who went after a LW, I decided I needed a better D-prospect/player and a F who can score!!

At the risk of jeopardizing my blog....

I have traded Bergenheim, and Gervais (as well as Skinner) to....

Washington.

NOt saying who I got. Read the blog for that!!! I really was reluctant to deal Sean but in the end, it was the right thing to do I think
