Forum rules PLEASE NOTE: ADVERTISING A LEAGUE/COMPETITION/WEB SITE/FORUM IS NO LONGER PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON THE BLUE LINE. We have had too many people take liberties with this privilege; signing up simply to advertise their site and not actually contributing to the community. We also see a lot of bumping of threads which is really just spamming the site. Anybody that advertises anything on TBL will be permanently banned for spamming.

We will probably need at least three more, to replace the inactive three so we can start a new season playing the BTCC.
Then we wait until we got time to do this, I'm quite busy at the moment as well. So we wait and see ifwe get time to do this soon, and hopefully more people will join in.
The season is going to be a BTCC Generic Championship, where the minimum is 8 players.

Here's the series info:
Series Information
This series is roughly based on the late 90's, early 2000's, it does not simulate any particular season - though some cars and championship calendar were taken from the 2002 season.
This is a legacy carset dating back to BATracer v2.x.
Multiple Classes
In BATracer v2.x, the BTCC carset was unique in supporting multi-class racing. Your world ranking is credited with wins regardless of which class you win in. The multiple classes effectivly make two separate series - if you play a BTCC game more than once we urge you to try out a different class nex time you play. They are quite a different experience and require different skills and strategies to succeed!
Format
Single lap qualifying decides the starting grid for a short sprint race with no pitting.
The second race is a longer feature race, requiring one mandatory pitstop. Qualifying order for this event is determined from a short multi-lap qualifying session.
Points
For each race, the following points are available:
Pole - 1 bonus point
Fastest lap - 1 bonus point
Most laps led - 1 bonus point
Special Notes
There are two separate classes in this BTCC championship. Though these split classes are meant to simply share the circuit and not get involved with one another, it is inevitable that sometimes two cars from a different class may hold one or the other up - or in the worst case, actually collide!
The lower "Production" class is based on more regular machinery. By contrast, the Touring class are much more like genuine racecars. The result is that a badly setup touring car can suffer a lot more than a badly setup production car which has fewer parameters. Changes in weather can also effect production class cars less.
BTCC is sometimes criticised for manufacturing racing - trying to be a "show" first and a sport second, with safety cars being deployed all too willingly to close the field up, and "succes ballast" applied to successfull drivers making it very difficult for them to win in the next round. Currently the game engine does not support success ballast, but frequent safety cars are a feature and can often be a factor in the short races.
That's one way, and you can also start a new team if you want to. If you want to join me in my team you click "Join team" or just scroll down and choose another car if you want to. But be sure to pick one in the "touring" class, not production.
