As I said, I will wait now on a update 09/10 and then edit new.
Anyway, good job!
I'm not including any contract extention until the next season starts. They mess up the team budgets too muchThricecube wrote:FYI, Alex Burrows signed a 4 year contract extension at $2mil per year.
Excellent job with the rosters in all leagues. I've done a real quick season and the results have been excellent.
Ahh, fair enough. I won't bother posting the small list I found thenLidas wrote:I'm not including any contract extention until the next season starts. They mess up the team budgets too muchThricecube wrote:FYI, Alex Burrows signed a 4 year contract extension at $2mil per year.

Thanks. Done a lot of work here. Once the season is over, Im gonna re-calculate all player abilities, and especially all the younger players will be boosted.Crayn wrote:I'm big on editing the players, so I'll try to help you out with that by giving my two cents. I'll start with my favourite team and go through every player and prospect in the organization.
But, first and foremost, the latest 2008 draftees need a big boost, especially since a lot of them are playing big roles on teams.
Stamkos, Schenn, Doughty, Bogosian, Sbisa, Bailey and others all need to be boosted to NHL regular stats.
Anyway, I'll start this with the Toronto Maple Leafs:
LWers:
Jason Blake (LW/RW/C) - Seems fine, nothing to change, other than a minor edit to his positions (He plays both wings much much more than center)
Alexei Ponikarovsky (LW/RW) - Also seems fine.
Niklas Hagman (LW/RW) - I don't know how he morphed so drastically, but his playing style is much different than his EHM stats dictate. He has a lot more flare and skill playing with the Maple Leafs, and isn't used much in PK situations. He is also not as strong or as physical as his stats suggest. Therefore boost his flair, stickhandling, deking and decrease his strength and hitting.
Brad May (LW/RW) - not much to note, although he seems to work harder than his 9 rating suggests.
Jiri Tlusty (LW/C) - At 20yrs old he is a dominant AHL player. I don't know if it is homerism but I do suggest he gets a stat boost. 13 in vision and passing, 14 in wrist shot, stuff like that.
Kris Newbury (LW/C) - Despite not being able to translate his offense into the NHL, he IS a scoring player in the AHL, as well as a pest/enforcer. His skill and shot should be boosted, as well as his fighting.
Ryan Hollweg (LW/C/RW) - Nothing to change other than adding RW.
Ryan Hamilton (LW) - I haven't watched him play much, but from what I've read he is a decent skater, decent shot, power forward type player. Not much NHL upside other than a 4th liner. Can fight, decently.
Stefano Giliati (LW) - Just leave him with random scrub stats. Perhaps he'd be a decent ECHL player, but he can't even crack the Marlies Clear Day roster.
Bates Battaglia (LW/RW) - Everything is fine with him, but he plays RW on a line with Tlusty and Stapleton irl so he should have that second position.
C:
Matt Stajan (C/LW) - Should have a boost in his work ethic and defensive play. He is a PK specialist and blocks shots very well. Very slight boost to his checking and hitting. He is by no means a tough player but his 7 in hitting is just too little. His offensive stats deserve a slight boost after the season he has as well. Also, tack on a bunch of Influence/Leadership points.
Mikhail Graboski (C/LW) - Seems fine. Perhaps bump his work ethic, he is a DEMON when it comes to backchecking and working hard. Sadly that doesn't make him a good defensive player, but he tries! Also a slight boost to creativity and flair may be in order.
John Mitchell (C/LW) - plzplzplzplz fix johnny boy. He's had a great season for the Leafs playing in a bottom 6 role. He is fast and hard to move off to puck (i.e boost his speed/acceleration and balance greatly), and he skated faster than BLAKE in the TML skating competition. As for his other stats, he is a very very balanced player, I personally give him 12 in most of his stats, 11 in some of his "weaker" ones (his passing isn't very good I figure), and I gave him a 13 to wristshot (he's got a good shot). Also, give him at least a 105 rating.
Tim Stapleton (C/LW) - boost in offensive stats. He has broken the record for Marlies scoring and is a dominant AHL player, and did not look too bad in the NHL in his brief stint.
Andre Deveaux (C/RW) - give him a slight boost in offensive categories and speed. He is an AHL enforcer but he has broken out this season and has shown he can be a scorer in the AHL.
Tyler Bozak (C) - Don't know much about him. IMO he should be left a college FA and let people playing EHM try to sign him when season ends. One thing I do know is he needs a big boost and was highly sought after and is a finalist for the Hobey Baker. Is expected to step in and challenge for the Leafs' second line center spot next season.
Chris Hanson (C/RW/LW) - Same as above. Is already playing for the Leafs and hasn't looked too bad, a goal and two pts in 4 games. Big body guy who looks like he'll make a home infront of the net. Kinda reminds me of Ponikarovsky in the way that he is big but he is not very physical. Deflections should be big for him.
Daryl Boyce (C/LW) - boost speed and defensive stats, give him so aggressiveness and bravery too? Checking and hitting should be average, say 13.
Alex Foster (C/RW) - decent AHLer, is more skilled than boyce and less effective defensively. Not as physical either.
RW:
Lee Stempniak (RW/C) - Lower his consistency, and up his aggressiveness and anticipation a bit..
Nikolai Kulemin (RW/LW) - Looks fine.
Boyd Deveraux (RW/C) - Looks fine.
Jeff Hamilton (RW/C) - Looks fine. (and by looks fine I mean they should be switched to RW!)
Jamal Mayers (RW) - Should be more of a PK specialist, so boost his defensive stats.
Ben Ondrus (RW/C/LW) - For some odd reason Ben Ondrus started playing center. I don't know how or why but give him that position I guess. Boost his faceoffs too
Jeremy Williams (RW/C) - don't call me a homer, but he should have a 16 or higher in wristshot. His shot is ****ing massive. The rest of his game isn't good though. Leave as is than a wristshot boost, and perhaps and getting open boost.
Brent Aubin (RW) - Can't even crack Clear Day list, AHL fodder.
Kyle Rogers (RW) - decent 4th liner in the AHL, leave as is or round out his defensive game a bit.
Alex Berry - (RW) - tremendous forechecker or so I hear, good hitter, might be a decent fighter too.
I'll take a break for now. Let me know if you want some more concrete "scouting reports" about certain players on any team, or perhaps I can show you the changes I made to these players.
I've noticed one as well. Steve Bernier should be listed as right-handed.Laiho wrote:One thing that i have noticed is that som players, both goalies and skaters, have the wrong shot-hand.
For example both R.J Umberger and Jakub Voracek are listed as Right-handed in the game when they in fact are Lefties.
At the moment i am at work but as soon as i get home i could go through the NHL-rosters and post the players that have the wrong hand here, if someone is interested?

Bit of a bump, but does anyone know how to fix this?bruins72 wrote:I don't know if this has been fixed in ver 1.3 but I'm playing ver 1.2 in the challenge and I've found that NHL teams are able to offer Zack Kassian a contract even though he is 17 years old and hasn't been drafted yet. Something is screwy there.
Sorry, but that's not anything that I'd like to research. I have other projects that I feel are more important to the final product. Of course if you research, and send me a file, I'll input it into the database. If you do, please use metric measurements, since that's what the editor uses.Thornton_27 wrote:i would like to see the enforcers get an update if that is possible!
For example Raitis Ivanans 6 ft 3 and weight 258 pounds he doesnt have 20 in Strength and he weights 244 pounds on the game. like that kind of stuff make the enforcers get som more focus!
if this not is to much work!
