Not to mention 2009. ;)

Canada has been great all game long and won with 3-1, they really deserve to be in the final.

But I really don't like that the referees seems never give Canada penalties for some obvious hookings, high stickings and more. But like I said Canada was the better team this game.

One of the swedish experts said a good thing:
Last night we made Czech Republic bad, today Canada made us bad
The final will be a real thriller between Russia-Canada.

I like both teams so I'm going to be neutral in that game and I hope that Sweden beats USA for the bronze.

Yeah the refs weren't calling a lot of things in the Canada-Sweden. Canada adapted to the refs style, Sweden didn't. But as you said, even without that, Canada was clearly the better team on the ice, and the score doesn't reflect that much the domination they enjoyed.

I think Canada will get the gold. Russia has been very far from being impressive against Belarus and USA (except Kovalchuk, who single-handedly lifted his team to the Final). And if it hadn't been for Mezin and the three softies he allowed, Russia should have fall brutaly against Belarus in the quarter-finals.

Congrats to Russia for the second World Championship in a row!

It was a good game. The refs let the guys play and there were alot of good clean hits and a fast pace. I was surprised at how hard it was for Canada to get good scoring chances in the third period while they were supposed to be trying their hardest to tie the game. Russia played well as a team, which isn't something they were very good at just few years ago.
