I think I read somewhere there is a trick where you can send prospects with CHL rights to the minors, is this true?

BTW, long time visitor, first time poster. Go EHM!!!

I'm not sure i understand the question... I wouldn't call it a trick... You can send any player with CHL rights to their Junior team. Like in the original DB you can send Bobby Ryan back to Owen Sound... Just go to his player page and click "Send to Juniors". :dunno:

Oh, i thought I read somehwere a while ago that there was a "trick" where you could loan prospects with CHL rights to like an AHL or ECHL team. maybe it was a dream :oops:

As long as they are 20 years or older, they can be sent down to the AHL or ECHL. The only way to get a junior-eligible player into the minors is if their junior club releases their rights.

If the player is under 20, they can only go to the AHL or ECHL if their junior rights aren't owned by a CHL team.
