Pictures for Regens (my idea)

Post by wildiowafan »

I've become a big fan of the jerseys at http://www.jerseydatabase.com/ so I had the idea to create jerseys as pictures for my regens. However as I am not very artistic and the artists over there are, understandably, not keen on releasing their templates, I had to find a more creative way to do it. So using gimp and some cut and pasting I managed to use the already created jerseys (using the largest size avatar maker) to create jerseys for my players. I then added the flag from the ehm folder.

Image Image Image Image Image

The original background i used was black so it didn't work with the bigger flag (i couldn't get the cut around the black to look right), but i also did a test for how I may do future jerseys, using a jersey with no background. here is a sample with havlat:

once again the flag was taken from the ehm folders.

I'm not looking to make these for others, but i wanted to share my idea so that if anyone was motivated or liked it they could use it for their game.

Looks good dude.

I personally preffer the one version with the big flag in the background, to the ones with a black background!!

What I sometimes do with my regens is searching for their exact names in the google picture search. I then take a picture that makes sense (i. e. a man in his 20s or something like that) and put it in the game. Strange? Yeah. Stupid? Probably, but funny, too ;)

or you just go to shop.nhl.com and select the team jersey and put the name and number on there.

the version with the background flag was pretty nice though!
