Anaheim name changed for next season

Anaheim have confirmed that they will be called the "Anaheim Ducks" instead of the "Mighty Ducks of Anaheim" from the start of next season.

About bloody time, why would a serious professional outfit be named after a Disney movie. They will also change their colours, but it is not confirmed what to.

As a side note, if we change their name in EHM, will it screw anything up, I never know what names you can or can't change!

If they're going to change the colors and drop the 'Mighty' part I assume the name change only going that far means they're retaining the same logo??

They should just use their more dignified third jerseys as their main jersey.

At least they won't be using that darn non-standard naming thing; really that is what drives me the nuttiest about the whole thing.

I think they should make their helmets look like duck bills.

Or maybe they could go for another Disney theme. Mighty Mickey Mouse of Anaheim...
