Logo request/completed/question thread

hey guys,
how hard is it to do what the NHL did with their old to new logo if you use gimp? Reason i'm asking is i have a logo that looks similar to the old nhl logo and i want to add the gloss/shineyness and silver look like the new one has to my logo. Is this possible using Gimp? If so how difficult is it?

I've got them. But i don't want to add them to a pack just by themselves. Do you have any other Canadian Junior leagues i can pack them together with?

You can do a Canadian Junior Pack, i miss A LOT of teams of every leagues (even the OHL & WHL)

Great idea! But what would you guys think about doing logopacks for each league as whole?
Would be nice, if they were easily downloadable on the site.

If somebody compiles the logos in some sort of logical fashion (such as by league, as you suggested), we could certainly put them as a download. It would make it so much easier to update your logos. My one suggestion is that in the download description the person uploading it would say what DBs it works with. For example, if it's got teams that are only in the new Lidas DB 2.0 (the one for the next NHL season), that should be noted in the description.

I will have logos for Several D-III Colleges and Some various US Jr. Team Logos.

I got about a dozen or so left to do. It was a project i started sometime ago and put on the back burner due to work and life and now both of those are mute so yea, it is getting done again.

Trying to update a lot of leagues so they have the correct teams. Thus - we need new logos.

Australian Ice Hockey League

Adelaide Adrenaline

Penrith Bears

Canberra Knights

Gold Coast Blue Tongues (I already had this one in my logo folder)

Melbourne Ice

Newcastle North Stars

Sydney Ice Dogs (I had this one too)

There will be PLENTY of more requests when I have time...

Just take all the time you need... There is still plenty of time before the new DB is released.
Also, sorry but there will be plenty of more logo-requests. I want to keep the DB good-looking

There is a template of the Titlepanel images. But none of actually making the logos. Check the last couple of pages. There was someone who was looking to learn it and there is a bit on how to do it.
