Maybe Saturday would be better? I wish I hadn't voted already.

I think the two key people determining the time of day is batdad and kuulapaa.

Being the "book-ends" of our timezones, we have to watch that batdad won't be drafting too early in the morning, and that kuulapaa won't be drafting too late at night.

For example: a 2pm EST draft... batdad would be at 11am, and kuulapaa would be at 9pm.

Lidas--Yeah they were nice to you. Not so much to me.... Wonder why? :-D

As for the draft-We need to find a time that works for all. So my thoughts are minimal. Mornings are usually fine (Pacific Time for me) and I think that puts it evening in Europe and afternoon back east. Not sure though....my mind is growing old since I turned 40.

Ugggh! I wish I hadn't voted for Sunday for the draft. I just got a reminder in my email that I've got the draft for a Yahoo league I've taken part in for several year now. I totally forgot about that one! Juggling two drafts at once would be a bit much.

That sucks B72...and I just found out batboy has practice Saturday 1PM our time, which means I have to get out of here at 1200 our time. Shite.

Anyway...an 8 AM PST Saturday time is fine for me, and then I leave at 1100...how many rounds will that get us through? Put a time limit on picks or you get the next one on the set list? Can you do that?

I had voted for Sunday too, because I figured it would work better, but I dont really care. I would like to be around, but I can always kick your butts by making deals...Seen that before haven't we? Just have to do a tiny bit better...

I think we're going with smaller teams this year, so I don't think the draft should take as long as it did last year. Anyone remember how long it took last year?

Saturday at 8 AM PST is 12 PM my time. That sounds pretty good to me. It would also make it so that it's easier for the folks over in Europe, right?

Know what? Now that I look at my work schedule I would like to change my vote as well...

I am available Saturday morning, (8AM time) or late Sunday night. That is it for me...and I really really really want to be there for at least the first few rounds

Looks like Saturday is becoming the best day. And with batdad able to do 8am, that makes it a lot better for kuulapaa.

Which would give us... Saturday at: 8am US Pacific = 11am US Eastern = 4pm England = 6pm Finland.

Thoughts on that?

Hmm... that's 1 am for me, and my family would be asleep. How long does the draft usually take?

That sounds great to me! It solves my Sunday day plans conflict and my Sunday evening conflicting draft problems.

It will be interesting for sure if you go with Sat.

Ill be drunk and tired, will have to struggle against passing out on my keyboard. Ill probably only make it through a few rounds (if I can make it at all).

If that's the case you should set yourself up some pre-rankings, just to make sure you don't made some bad picks because of being drunk and tired.

Are we only allowed to have Centers in the C position LW as LW, RW as RW, or can any forward play any forward position?

If this works like other leagues I've played, you must have C play C and LW play LW and so on. Of course, some players have more than one position. It makes you choose your players more carefully than if you just have forwards playing any forward position.

That's a much better way of doing it. Last year we had that Forwards could play anywhere, i ended up with my whole team being RW's.

What was the point in the draft poll? Which was voted as Sunday. Not sure i can be there if it's saturday. Looks like it's set in stone though now.
