I was actually thinking about this the other night-would a one-off final game be better for the sport and raise the excitement and interest? The only problem I foresee is that it somewhat devalues the 82 games necessary to get there. Or maybe the regular season is too long as it is? I reckon a game every Wednesday and Saturday a week is enough...
