DOes this forward lineup make anyone wonder if Dallas be a top notch team? I just do not see why they are not

Morrow-Ribeiro-Lehtinen
Neal-Richards-Benn
Ott-Modano- Eriksson
Wandell-Sutherby-Brunnstrom

Those top 3 lines have a little of all..power forward, skill playmaker, scorer, defensive presence. Scary. 4th line has a little of that stuff as well.

I guess the problem is along the blueline here, noone can get them the puck.

They are just an avarage team to me. Two big problems there: Ott and the very slow defense.

Ott is actually one of the more effective agitators in my mind. Not a tonne of dumb penalties where he does not take someone with him. And I guess they are kind of average....but I dunno...Neil, Morrow, Richards, ---that should be lethal. Richards is just kind of sucking.

Neal-Richards-Eiksson
Brunnstromm-Modano-Lehtinen
Ott-Sutherby-Wandell

Actually if you watched the Calgary game..Lehtinen played 2 1/2 periods with Ribeiro and Morrow. THere can be no usual lines for Dallas including Modano/Lehtinen right now.

Why? Because it was their first game of the year the other night. Benn took Lehtinen's spot on the PP only.

So we were both 1/2 right...looked at HF...lines reported were:

Lines for tonight's game:

James Neal-Brad Richards-Loui Eriksson
Brenden Morrow-Mike Ribeiro-Jere Lehtinen
Steve Ott-Mike Modano-Jamie Benn
Brian Sutherby-Tom Wandell-Fabian Brunnstrom

Nicklas Grossman-Stephane Robidas
Karlis Skrastins-Matt Niskanen
Mark Fistric-Trevor Daley

Marty Turco

So Benn not with Richards, and Brunnstrom to 4th OTt with Modano. But tihs is a Crow coached team ... so things change fast.

Until Modano/Lehtinen came back my lines were the lines for 90% of the games. But I'll take your word for it that those are the lines for today since im to lazy to check. Benn should be first line IMO

THose lines were lines against Calgary, sorry when quoted the thread included that "today's lines" part.

I dunno tonight. Benn could play 1st line, but young so why put the pressure on him yet. I think he played a fair bit of that game with Richards and Eriksson was moved off the line but not 100% on that.

Yeah, the Stars forwards look like those of a Stanley Cup challenger.
Right mix of experience and youth in there as well, its a real shame for them that their defence lets them down.

Don't forget Del Zotto at NY. He seems to slow down in points but he still make an outstandig job on the PP, he is already on the first line.

A 5-1 win for Toronto is certainly not what I expected to see tonight.

It's not what anyone expected to see at all...
Kessel looks outta shape. He's winded coming off of a shift :P

In time he'll find his game though.

Haha I meant out of shape in an athletic standpoint. And now that you mention Oompa Loompa I can't stop laughing.

He's a dead ringer for Spencer Pratt, one of those idiots from Mtv. This guy and his girlfriend are always in the press. Everyone makes fun of his "flesh-colored beard".

Oh and I just read that Krejci is back practicing with the team. He's past the stage of being contagious. I won't be getting the flu. I got my regular flu shot and my H1N1 shot yesterday. It helps to have a wife in the healthcare industry.

Oh and what's up with Cam Ward and the slice on his leg? How long is he supposed to be out? I've got him on at least 1 of my fantasy teams, maybe 2.

I'm glad it's not my TBL league that I've got Ward on my fantasy team. That's a big blow for the Canes though. It looks like they've got Cole healthy again though. Still, the Canes really need to find a goalie to cover for them while Ward is out or they're going to dig themselves a very big hole.

Nylander was on waivers last week and no team claimed him? What happened to this guy? He used to be a good player not long ago. :-k
