Mortex, it depends on which facepack from this site you downloaded. Some are made for original or TBL roster updates, some are made for Lidas rosters.
The ones made for original db (player dates of birth unchanged) has to be changed by shift_dates_by_3.bat script in order to work with Lidas2.0 - you have to change the years by 3.
Facepacks compatible with Lidas1.3 roster needs applying shift_dates_by_1.bat script to work with Lidas2.0.
Simply change their dates of birth separately (using these scripts) and then put them all together in /ehm/data/pictures/players folder.
If it still doesn't work for you, PM me once again and I'll explain it to you in our native language :)

I am Admin. I use Vista and shift_dates_1 was the one i used so.. i don't know. Might work if someone could do it and upload it.
I had the same problem. It's because Vista keeps resetting the 'read-only' option. Try this:
Right click the folder and bring up properties. Go to security and then advanced. It should bring up a list of 'permissions'. If in the list 'User' is set to 'read and execute only' click edit, an identical looking box will open, click on 'users' from the list and click edit again. Select the 'full control' option, click 'ok' then 'apply'. Now when you get rid of the 'read-only' property it will stay gone. The .bat file should work.

Hope this works for you. It did for me.
Yeah, you're right. I forgot that I needed this step as well to get it to work. Vista is pretty tricky that way.

I'm not sure this is the place to ask this question, but about the facepack switch utility (to make them compatible for Lidas' update), is there any way to switch back?

I don't know if it overwrites some files and I could just save backups. Any help would be great.

You could just copy the folder to another location before running the utility that switches them. Then you'd have an original copy and the modified copy.

Is there any way a new pack will be release to work with the 2.0 update? Or is using a program to shift the years, the only way the facepacks will work?

Check out the Editing and Add-Ons forum. AndyJayP designed a new face card template which he and others are using to create new cards specifically for the Lidas 2.0 update.

So. This should be the new numbers for all the pictures for Lidas 2009/2010 rosters:

Code: Select all

1956|1957|1958|1959|1960|1961|1962|1963|1964|1965|1966|1967|1968|1969|1970|1971|1972|1973|1974|1975|1976|1977|1978|1979|1980|1981|1982|1983|1984|1985|1986|1987|1988|1989|1990

Edit:

Those numbers above didn't work. Heres the numbers that worked for me:

1958|1959|1960|1961|1962|1963|1964|1965|1966|1967|1968|1969|1970|1971|1972|1973|1974|1975|1976|1977|1978|
1979|1980|1981|1982|1983|1984|1985|1986|1987|1988|1989|1990|1991|1992

picture dates shifting

Post by duquer »

Once I used picture_dates_ shifting to see players mugshots while playing the newest Lidas update. But now I want to return birth years back how they are in the original 06/07 EHM roster. How can I do it?

Thanks for the answer

PS I searched the forums but found no answer :dunno:

I had a play around with the "date changer" and couldn't get the dates from back to their originals. Some worked, others became things like Zach_Parise_28_7_1984987 or something like that. I have a pack of 3758 headshots that i use. Some I made and some I didn't, if no one has an answer for your question. I'll post them to the download section so others can use them if they need to.

Well I have a pack of 29846 pics in my pictures/players folder. Some of them doubled (jpg and ehg). So that's a big trouble that I cant return them to originals

I've never used that date shifter thing. Do you still have the original zip/rar files that they pics were originally downloaded in? You could always just re-extract them.
