Do you have pics for the Peoria Rivermen Yet? I have been grabbing some good action shots off the website for the local paper, not sure who knows this... but if a picture is right click protected, the opera browser will still let you save the pic :)
Actually I havent got to the Peoria Rivermen yet. If you could send me some pictures for them that would be greatly appreciated.
I have good action shots for 19/25 Rivermen players as of right now

The mods/Admins will approve it in time. But I often find it best to just send them a little message to let them know you have uploaded it.

I look forward to seeing the rest of the AHL packs. For those interested I should have the first NHL pack up by the middle of the week.

keep up the good work!!

The action shot of the player need to be closer, I try and cut the player off at the waist. It also needs to go to the left more as there is way to much red space on the left hand side. the profile pic needs to go up slightly. It might be best if the profile pic isn't so close. I try and get some of the shoulders in. But other than that everything else seems fine dude.

With some more practice you'll be a card making master!!

Heres one I have done quickly (I couldn't find the same action pic you used, but hopefully you get the idea). The rest are just some more examples.

Hope that helps.

Those ones look better.

All that need to be done is the text of the name plate needs to be moved down to the bottom of the white box. And some of the players action pic need to be moved down a few pixels to incorporate their whole head. No the less, a good good.

Keep up the good work!!

Still nothing there.

:dunno:

I was able to get the Lidas update through that upload form. So it would appear that it works. For some reason I'm just not seeing your upload.

If you're having trouble uploading it, if you send it to me I could upload it for you. Or you could use Rapidshare to host the file, until the upload works.

It said that to me too Grossman. But refresh the page and it may tell you that many downloads are happening now and to try back. I was able to get it.
Good job Andyjayp.

I will download it from here and put it up. I found out what the problem might be though. I was talking to Archi and he thought you might have been exceeding the file upload size limit.

Okay, I've got the file up there. In the future, try to keep the zip or rar at 5MB or less and I think it will allow you to upload them.

I didn't make the AHL pack jays_leafs4life made it. But thats anyway. Nothing like credit for something you didn't do.

In the future packs, when saving the PSD's to JPEG's, if you use the 'Save for web' save function. Have it set on 80% and that should lower the file size of the JPEGs. If you have CS4 I should be able to pass you on a script, that I picked up from somewhere, that will allow you to do the 'Save for Web' function in a batch. I tend to do it a team at a time.

None the less... good work!!
Keep it up

I haven't done any yet. I'm kinda in the middle of doing some more Card designs, which should hopefully be ready by the weekend.

I'll keep you posted on my progress as and when it happens!!

Andy, are you sticking with this card? I have been working on getting better at it, and was ready to try and crank out some cards alongside the masters like you

Hey,

I am in the middle of trying to finalise another design as the mo. I will be doing more cards in the AJP09 card style but probably not until early next year. But by all means try and crank out some cards. With practice its an easy template to work with... From my recollection you weren't doing to bad!!

I look forward to seeing your packs.

I have decided to use another of Andyjayps card templates, so I need to restart my Swedish packs. Still, I have already made 600 cards in the AJP09 style, and dont want them to go to waste, so I have just uploaded them to the server (awaiting approval). Enjoy!
