I've been wondering the same thing. ESPN only has one tie-breaker listed in the league settings, which we have set to Goals. After that, it's a mystery. :dunno:

Looks like it didn't come to it. You got the win. If only I had started Wheeler on Saturday. He had a goal, an assist, a +2, 2 PIM, and 2 SOG. He hadn't been so hot lately, so I started Stafford and Lupul at RW. Then I got busy over the weekend and didn't see that Stafford was DTD and didn't play. So I wasted the roster spot and lost out on some good stats.

I just realised that there are only four teams with winning percentage at the moment

Must post after Manimal. Must. Every time. Because of his ugly arse avatar...

Anyway, when you have two guys at 7-0 it really makes things tough on the others.

What a night for me. Until there were .6 seconds left in the Flyers game....I had 3 Game winning goals going for me. Then it started to topple a bit, and I only ended up with 1. 13 PIM's. Also lost out on plus minus on that Devils goal at the end of the game. But man...both my goalies won in shootouts tonight. Heh. Poor archi though, when he wakes up and sees he is down 9-0 already. That is going to hurt. (9 because GWG not counted yet)

Would be nice if my guys decided to pass the puck, just once in awhile though.

Would have helped, if you didn't stack your roster with all those selfish ***tards, wouldn't it :-D

My last week was so great (result-wise, not point-wise maybe) I haven't still stopped hyperventilating. And this week begun pretty well too, but Saints' goalies put up such numbers that I just have to wait and hope my goalkeepers (especially Kiprusoff) will go on winning.

And Ovie is coming back this week! His return should help Uakaris :joy:

My best D-man is out for 2-3 weeks. ](*,)

I'm turning to my countryman for emergency aid, let's see what Strålman can do.

I can't believe I forgot to set my lines yesterday!

](*,)

I usually set up my lines for the week first thing Monday morning but I got doing other things and forgot all about it until last Monday night when games were either over or underway. I lost out on at least an assist or two.

I feel your pain - I did the exact same thing. Signed in at 7:08pm, and realized Giroux was on my bench. And sure why not, he goes on to pick-up two assists.

I think your situation is even worse. At 7:08 they were probably still singing the anthem but the rosters were locked.

The Canes put Ward on the LTI today. I guess it'll be awhile before I can get my 4th W of the season. Unreal.

I've got Halak (who isn't playing because Price is suddenly hot), Giguere (who can't seem to stop a beach ball and should probably be on the bench in favour of Hillier) and freaking Manny Legace, who I hope will start against the Laffs and not get shelled in the Canes next game. This is not so good.

Don't worry. You're playing against me this week. You should get the win. My +/- is already killing me. I'm -8 so far this week.

Legace will do you fine. Canes are gonna turn it around. Really they are. And if you offer me an $8 millions back up goalie for Quick again I might find your house and toilet paper it with Giguere tp...the only thing he is good at..wiping his...

Looks like we have a few headlines for this week:

- The Mustangs are on the verge of giving the undefeated Vikings their first loss of the season.

- Philadelphia in is one day away from breaking their six-game losing streak.

- Phaneuf is Enough is close to breaking their five-game losing streak.

Don't speak too soon. It's all to play for in my encounter with the Vikings.

Also we've not seen huge amounts of trading. Where is everyone? :dunno:

I've attempted trades all season - I get shot down with no counters. So I assume people either A) are happy with their teams or B) don't like me. :-D

Not implying that anyone hasn't been, but you want to keep in mind that this is a keeper league. Some GMs may be looking to keep certain players for upcoming years, or avoiding players because of age or contracts. So when making a trade, make sure you consider not only his current value, but his future value as well.

Sure do. My keepers are basically my untouchables on my block. C Kopitar. LW Parise. RW Kessel. D Pronger + Someone else. G Turco or Huet (Most likely Huet).

Anyone else is free to move wherever. :-D

By the way, on an unrelated note, I've been thinking of creating a record book/almanac for our league. I don't know how far ESPN goes with it's tracking of league history, but I doubt it goes beyond simple league and trophy winners. So for the fun of it, I was thinking of making our own with Weebly.

I was planning on recording just about as much as possible, from individual player records to team records, all ranging from game-to-game all the way up to all-time. And this would all be with our own fantasy teams and our players and what they do in our league, not their real NHL records.

I don't think it should be too hard to do, and might be kind of fun to follow with the league. Especially once we start to build a history.

Any thoughts?

Things are not looking very bright for me... I was hoping you'd play Huet tonight, so maybe your goalie stats would go down, but it seems you were smart enough to bench him =D>

He's benched anyways for Niemi. :-p

What's with ESPN's hate on Mighty Mite. His stats don't update automatically like the others. And on their report of the game tonight. His assists aren't showing. :dunno:

Record book idea is great. As for Lidas losing. Well Bernier needs to be a star. And unless Shane O'Brien double his career scoring stats in one game I will be left in the only undefeated slot. I bet that peeves a few of you off. I hope to remain that way all year but if I do not (which I won't) at least I have a record book entry already.
