Lidas Update 2.1 facepacks

Post by semerab »

Hi,

i am a newbee at TBL. Sorry to open a new topic but i can´t find a topic with a solution for my question.
I´ve downloaded EHM 07 a couple of days ago. Updated the database with Lidas 2.1 version and downloaded several facepacks (mostly .jpg) . I deleted the .ehg files in the pictures folder (after researching here).

The problem i have now is that i only can see the pictures with an .png ending in the game and not the .jpgs. I have seen that there is another chat about facepacks with version 2.0 and that the DoB has to be changed.

Is there any help around there please? I want to play EHM with all the pics and the actual roster!

Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Give us an example of file name in jpeg and one in png format. We'll see what you're using.
Also keep in mind that older facepacks are compatible with original db or with Lidas 1.x db. Only facepacks compatible with Lidas 2.x db will work with Lidas 2.1 db. Older facepacks need to be modified (change their filenames).
And one more thing: the game prefers png format to jpg. So Aaron_Johnson_30_4_1980.png wins over Aaron_Johnson_30_4_1980.jpg.

Hi Mate,

can`t provide you with an example of the files im using actual, because i am at work at the moment. Hope to send them later today.
I know that the game prefers .png to .jpg. Just to understand you right - I have to download and run this file (shift_dates_by_3.bat is to be used for transition between original db to Lidas2.0 roster) and it normally should clarify/ work with the 2.1 DB?

Yes, as McQwak says: "Facepacks compatible with Lidas 2.x (in this case x=0) db will work with Lidas 2.1 db.

Hi,

tried the stuff mentioned above. Didn´t work.

When i run the script "access denied" pops up and nothing changes on the Dob. The .png files still work fine.

Could anyone send over a list of facepacks that work with Lidas 2.1 please?

Cheers

What OS are you using?? When I done changed the name of my files, I had t move my players folder to my desktop (as I was using windows 7). Once the names where changed I just moved them back to the:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\pictures folder.

I use Vista Home premium.

Did you change the Date of Birth manually for every single pic?

I just try to avoid that. It´s a hole bunch of work. I am looking for facepacks that work with the 2.1 update. Do you also work with the 2.1 version? If yes it would be great if you could sent me over your list of facepacks you use.

Cheers

I use pretty much all the packs. I used McQwaks facepack updater. But As I said I dragged the players folder onto the desktop first before running the .bat file.

I think you will have to do something similar on vista.

Hope this helps
