Stuart isn't on my fantasy team anymore. I dropped him a while back. :-p

Seriously, he brings a lot of snarl to the Bruins lineup. He'll be a big loss.

I know you dropped him, that is why I was asking. I was shocked to see you drop a Bruin. And yeah, he does add alot to a team. No question.

[HFBoards]Woz, Ference and Sobotka for Carter and a 3rd[/HFBoards] :nerd:

Also, if the locker room is split, I wonder which side Pronger is on :D

Ha Pronger probably doesn't care. He's too busy counting his money in the corner.

Chris will be on the side of whoever has the hottest woman with a gap between her teeth. That way he can claim she is his long lost sister when his wife catches him.

You've got to figure that professional hockey players can pick up women easily enough... even if they've got ridiculous hair like Hartnell. Why do these idiots have to mess around with each other's wives? And what's with Philly and this type of thing. Wasn't that also supposed to be a big part of Lindros leaving the Flyers?

Carolina's finns were in fire! Tuomo Ruutu scored his first hat-trick in NHL, Jussi Jokinen scored 1+1 and Joni Pitkänen scored 0+2 :joy:

Yahoo NHL made a list of the most lopsided NHL trades of the last decade:
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_d ... nhl,209570

My personal favourite trade would be the third on that list, Chara + Spezza pick for Yashin.

6. New York Islanders trade Roberto Luongo and Olli Jokinen to the Florida Panthers for Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha. (June 24, 2000)

1. Roberto Luongo, Krapicek, and Shirokov (who will play 2nd line in the league in a year or two) for Berbonehead, Allenslug, Auldosieve.

I mean it has to be the #1...even the guy who made the trade says it is worse than the Milbury deal of Luongo and Joke innen to Florida.

God I hope the Nucks never trade Lebongo. Every time he gets moved its another addition to the worst trade list. He is sure loved alot. And with the way he is playing right now...wow. Not surprised.

I love watching jerks take out jerks. Next game Kaleta should run Ruutu from behind. So much fun. (Although I do have a soft spot for Ruutu--at least he will drop the gloves and fight.)

Well the Wild's equipment was in a fire and is completely destroyed.

Michael Russo

The Wild's equipment truck caught fire this afternoon and much of the Wild's equipment was destroyed.

The team is in scramble mode. Trainers returned to the arena from 5-minute drive from practice, and back was smoky.

They opened up and everything was on fire. Nobody knows why. But team is in scramble mode as it tries to determine what was destroyed.

Wild asst equipment trainer Brent Proulx is heading back to Minnesota as we speak

Contrary to reports though, there was not a truck accident. This was discovered once the trainers returned to the arena from practice rink
TSNBobMcKenzie

Minnesota Wild equipment van was in an accident, caught fire and much of the Wild players' equipment has been burned so badly it's toast.

No injuries in the accident, apparently, but if u know anything about NHL players and equipment, especially skates, players are apoplectic.

Nik Backstrom's equipment, all of it apparently, is up in smoke. Wild checking with the league to see what their options are. Unprecedented.

Nobody was hurt, just their equipment was burned. So they get all new stuff. Which sucks for them because they have to break it all in.
