He means take an existing player and change everything on him to the desired values and save. If you create a new player with the same name as an existing one there will be two-a-like

When I create a very good player, he automaticaly has an NHL release clause in his contract, when playing with a non-NHL team. Is it possible to change that?

You may be able to do that by lowering his reputation before game start. Other than that I don't think it is possible.

I have a question in the editor i make old legens from the NHL i will use them at Scout oder headcoach or somthing so i make all corect in the editor!now i start a game and than they are players and coach or scout and in the editor i have make birthyear 1932 and ingame they born 1967 how i can fix this problem??

Why are they listed as an ECHL team in the latest Lidas 2.1 update? And how can I change them back to an AHL team?

Because you can only have a certain # of teams in each league. It is hardcoded into the game. I forget EXACTLY why Rochester was chosen to go to ECHL. But they were. You cannot have 30 teams in the AHL unfortunately. It would be nice, but you can only have 28 I believe. ANyway, as for changing it back, you would need to use the editor. And this thread could easily be closed off by a mod or moved to that forum discussing Lidas DB 2.1

I have both editors. I'd assume I'd have to change one AHL team and one ECHL team and make sure they both go in the correct divisions respectively.

Yeah I realize that. I just had my game today end with a corruption so I need to make a new one. I want to give Florida a AHL team before I do.

I enjoy playing ehm 2005 every now and then,so i found a player editor for 2005 but when i try to open it,it says:

ACCESS VIOLATION AT ADDRESS 004E893A IN MODULE 'EHM_EDIT_2005.EXE.' WRITE OF ADDRESS A676BC94

If anyone knows what this means could they please explain it to me.Thank you

If another version of this editor is being made, could you please make the tabbing in player attributes so that it follows all in line? It is annoying when you are creating/changing players.

1) Is it possible to change the name of an NHL team? I want to get rid of, say, Pheonix and "move them" by naming them differently to like Hamilton?

2) Can you clear a teams history? Like player scoring all-time records for NHL clubs?

Sure. There are couple of teams which you can't remove ™ mark and Phoenix isn't one of them. Remember that when you just rename the team, all players which have Phoenix as a favourite club, they have your Hamilton as a favourite club. I recommend to create a new team.

I'm not sure. If it's possible, it's in record_config file. Like I said, I recommend to create a new team.

You have to delete them in pre-game editor. Choose player from your team and delete club stats from player info (i'm not sure about this but you have to delete them from everybody who plays/have played in that club).

P.s. delete stats from one player, confirm changes and then save and close pre-game editor. The open it again and delete stats from next player. If you save many times and make many changes, those wouldn't happen. I tried to make 79-80 db and i make lots of changes and lots of saves, i didn't close pre-game editor, and after that nothing/wrong things had happen (for example Timo Jutila, who was 16 years old in 79, had player histories that he has played 4 years in Slovakian league).
