Offer Out on Loan?

Post by matt44 »

Hey guys, I have a few players in my Coyotes game who aren't getting ice time in the AHL and my CHL team is full so I want to send them out on loan, I click the "Offer out on loan" button but can't find how to select teams to offer them to!

Can anyone help?

I did a search but couldnt find anything.

Just did a quick test...

When I clicked on a player and then on "Offer Out on Loan" in his menu, it automatically brought up a list of teams to offer him to. Clicking on one of the teams brings a pop-up with the terms of the loan and then confirmation of the offer. If this doesn't happen, I don't know what the problem may be.

Alternately, you can set a player's status to "Available for loan" which doesn't bring up a list of teams, just lets everyone know that he is available and you may or may not get offers to take him.

Hope this helped.

Maybe some players just aren't good enough for the CHL either, or wherever you offered them out too...

Yup, Getzlaf may be on to something there.

Offering / taking a loan player is quite common in Europe, so I use it quite often - being that with Espoo Blues I have no other affiliation than the Espoo U20 team.

What I've noticed is that when I offer to teams on the list they never refuse to take the player. This could mean if there are no teams on the list, then no team wants him. All teams listed are willing to take him on loan?

Tasku, I have come to the same conclusion that if there are no teams, nobody is interested. Also, I think some players can't because of their contracts/age/etc.

Yes, they need to clear waivers (if waiver eligible) and the must agree. Also, the new club must accept salary they're supposed to pay him.

If I understand you right, you manage the club that want to aquire player for loan. I don't think there is filter for these players. Can you offer such loan as target team GM? I guess the offer is iniciated by loaning team GM.

Yes I want to pickup players that are available for loan. I'm managing in the echl atm and other teams are always getting players loaned to them. So what you are saying is that you have to be offered the loan directly?
