Lindros Czech Republic anyway. I hate their arrogant attitude towards my little country.

Go Slovakia!

4-0 to Canada 12 minutes into the first against Latvia. Loads of scoring already!

So it ended up 16-0 to Canada with Nashville's Gabriel Bourque scoring 3 goals and 4 assists. Which ties Mike Cammaleris record for points in a single game.

Canada looks better now then they did in the prelims, but they did play a weak Latvian team. What scares me is that Canada beat the Czech's 3-2 in the prelims, but Sweden beat them 10-1 today.

The Prelims were just Canada stamping their authority by showing how aggresive they can be. And as a result spent most of the time on the PK.

I'm looking forward to watching the Americans later on.

Canada has depth in their roster. They'll just outwork every other team. Their 4th line are 1st liners. T-Hall looks phenomenal. I love watching him skate. Pierre McGuire is annoying me. He goes off saying that "x" team will be happy with "y" player... basically for every single Canadian player. It gets very redundant very fast.

The USA also won after the overcame a scare in the first period. They were down 2-1 but rallied for a 7-3 win.

4 Games down, 45 goals. :-D

Thats just how Mcguire is. I hate him to. One minute he bashes a team, the next minute they are his favorite team.

Hey, Gibby, being the only czech here, I must say: CALM DOWN. There's a lot of rivalries between countries (FIN-SWE, everybody-RUS, everybody-CAN :-D) and funny posts by swedish or finnish users here but that's far away from your one.

Regarding the game: many czech players were sick so I hope they will improve in later stages ;) Very bad game of course :thdn:

So what? I've been widdled ever since I heard what Rosicky said about our football team. And I believe there are more arrogant jerks like him.

Gibson, let me tell you that you that there are jerks in pretty every other place in the world. Being a jerk is not a nationality-influenced thing. I think it'd be a good idea to leave the f- and p-words, and just enjoy the game. And my, what a beautiful game hockey is. :-D

I've been to Slovakia a couple of times before, and it's a beautiful country. None of that visits was very long, but I nevertheless managed to meet some very nice people. Must visit you again soon. :-D

I'm just saying that I am sick of some Czechs' attitude towards us like we were their poor brothers. And besides that, what kind of rivalry would it be without fierce comments? :-D

Plus if you listen long enough pretty much every player is a "monster" or going to be a "monster" Geezuz Pierre.... It's the world juniors and there are a ton of first round pics and some guys will be stars but get over your man-crush on any player thats over 6 feet tall, hits and can score a few goals.

Today Czechs - Finns -game  Hopefully we win that game. We got good team, Granlund, Vatanen, etc. Vatanen has scored about 20 points in Sm-liiga this year in about 30 games and Granlund is top10 scorer in Sm-liiga this year, but he was 1 month away cause of injury. Only bad thing is that Teemu Pulkkinen have injury and he can't play in this tournament, he has been few months away and will play next time in march. This year we don't have superb goalie, but hopefully Joni Ortio plays well in this tournament.

I'm really excited for Finland, I guess as they are the clostest to me in England, i'm rooting for 'em :-D. The Fins have some really good players. I'm stoked to see Vatanen, he's a Duck prospect and i've heard a load of really positive things about him.

And again, Vatanen is awesome. 2+0 today.

Vatanen continues his superb playin', that he started in Jyp's exhibition games, where he scored hat-tricks and scored goal in every game (if i remember right). Teemu Hartikainen 1+0 and Mikael Granlund 0+1  :-p

The only problem Vatanen has is his size, he's way too small for NHL
