I'm loving the 2.1 rosters, but I definitely have some suggestions for 2.2 for players that are having breakout seasons:
-Tyler Myers: This guy is leading the pack for the Calder, and his all-around play - both offensively and defensively - has been incredible. I'd say his PA should be boosted to -9, his offensive and defensive skills both be boosted and his mindset changed so that he is an all-around defenseman.
-Mason Raymond: I know I have a bit of a bias, but Raymond has broken out this year, no doubt, and his play has been vastly improved over last season. I'd recommend boosting his wristshot, bravery, aggressiveness and passing, and giving him a boost to his CA and PA.
-Chris Stewart: This guy has been playing extremely well for the Avs. I'd suggest boosting his CA a bit.
-Duncan Keith: He would easily win the Norris if the season ended now. He's been phenomenal for the Hawks, so I think you should give him a huge boost to his CA and an all-around boost to all his attributes.
-Drew Doughty: He's just turned 20 and he made Canada's Olympic squad. His play has been fantastic and mature, so I'd suggest a boost to his CA and an all-around boost to most of his attributes, especially positioning, passing and pokecheck.
-Christian Ehrhoff: Been playing very, very well for the Canucks - I'd suggest a boost to his passing, positioning and anticipation, as well as a boost to his CA.
-Henrik Sedin: I know I'm suggesting too many Canucks here to be boosted, but Henrik is currently leading the league in scoring, and that probably shouldn't go unnoticed. I'd suggest boosting his passing, getting open, anticipation and wristshot slightly and his CA as well.
Other Players:
-Michal Handzus, Daymond Langkow: These players, along with some others, always seem to become PPG players within a couple of seasons. I recommend you lower their PAs.
-Mike Green: I've never seen him produce more then 45 points within his first 5 seasons on several occasions. I think you need to make him more of an offensive-minded player, like maybe a 17-11 ratio or something along those lines, and maybe boost some of his offensive attributes even more (I know they're already high, but this guy is a PPG defenseman and is as close to a modern-day Bobby Orr as we're ever going to see).
-Pavol Demitra: Still overrated in 2.1 - he's a 50-60 point player who can be a liability defensively and is on the decline. I'd recommend lowering his CA, wristshot, passing, positioning and anticipation mainly.
-Nino Niederreiter: The hero for the Swiss at the WJHC, his play has been just fantastic and I think he has played his way into top-20 contention at the upcoming Entry Draft. I'd suggest boosting his PA to -8 or -9 and giving him a boost in CA and most offensive attributes.
-Vladimir Tarasenko: Many scouts are now ranking him in the top-5 for the Entry Draft - I think his PA should be boosted to -9 and his CA and attributes all slightly boosted. His play at the WJHC was phenomenal.
-Jordan Eberle: He was incredible at the WJHC and will almost definitely become a bonafide NHLer soon and should make the Oilers next season. I think his PA should be boosted to -9 and his CA, wristshot, deking, stickhandling and passing should all be boosted slightly.
-Matthieu Schneider: He's become a defensive liability, which is why he's now playing in the minors. I'd suggest lowering his CA and his positioning, pokecheck, speed and agility.
-Kevin Connauton: He leads the WHL in goals and points by a defenseman right now by fairly large margins. I think his PA should be boosted to -7 (maybe -8, but probably not) and his CA, passing, slapshot, wristshot, anticipation and getting open should all be boosted.
-Steve Bernier: This guy has hands of stone - he couldn't bury a rebound if his life depended on it. I'd suggest lowering his wristshot, anticipation, slapshot and CA all slightly.
-Rick Rypien: Probably the best middleweight fighter in the NHL right now - his fighting abilities are just scary at times. His fighting should be boosted to a 19, his aggression to 17/18 and his strength to a 16, I think. Also, he plays the wing more then center with the Canucks, so I think that should become his natural position (LW/RW/C). He's not very reliable defensively so it doesn't make much sense to place him as a center.
-Kyle Wellwood: His play has been just awful this year. I'd recommend lowering his CA, wristshot, passing, getting open and anticipation all slightly.
-Tanner Glass: Right now, he's rated as a borderline AHLer, but he's playing with the Canucks for a reason. I'd suggest boosting his CA slightly, as well as his wristshot, fighting, strength and aggression.
I know my suggestions are predominantly about the Canucks, but that's what I could think of off the top of my head and since I'm a Canucks fan I do know all the players pretty well. I tried to make suggestions without a bias, but it can be pretty tough to do, I think.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there is a way to do something like this with the pre-game editor, as it allows you to create pre-existing injuries in the database. Now I'm not sure if you can set specific timelines and such for these injuries (ie Kessel returns in early November) but I think something like this may be doable.Realpity wrote:Any way of having Phil Kessel of thr Maple Leafs start on the I.R. until November ? Just to have the season start as it did.

It is possible of you add a line in the extra_config file. I have decided not to do it in the database, because it can cause some (older) player to retire due to injury.Realpity wrote:Any way of having Phil Kessel of thr Maple Leafs start on the I.R. until November ? My time was eaten up and I haven't been playing EHM for quite some time.
Fernando Pisani - He's extremly professional and should ace a value based on that. Sadly his back and Colitis has made him really injury prone and I would say 20 is the right value as noboby knows how long he can play.
Rob Schremp - Should have both Stickhandling and Deking 18-20, but severly lowered work rate and team work.

I think it's a problem that B/C countries practically got no chance at getting a NHL guy if they don't have one from the start. So can you read my suggestions here:
